Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker delayed in Japan

yeah, it looks awesome! there's some dude looking at grass, another one crapping his pants, and then charlie on the right is running in circles.

It's MGS:Rising. The should have a release date soon. Its also multiplatform. PS3 is getting it as well.

Its also not an MGS game (in my book anyway). Its a Hack & Slash and not Stealth.

Kojima isn't stupid. He know his fans are suckers for bad storytelling, would you end that gravy train if you were in his position?

Heres how I understand it: he makes MGS4 which many believe to be one of the greatest games of all time. "I'm done," he says. "Snake is done," he says. Everybody is happy.

And then he catches wind that Konami is making a new Metal Gear! Without him! And cross platform to boot! Rather than have everything ruined (if you think non-kojima Metal Gear can be good, I present to you Ac!d) he pulls a Michael Jordan and decides he doesn't need to retire, so as to not have his opus ruined.

Imagine if Picasso found out that people were trying to "fix" Guernica to make it more realistic unless he adds onto it himself. Even if you didn't like him, you have to admit that just staying out of it is a bad idea.

Konami won't let Metal Gear die, so I brace yourself for their new Les Enfants Terrible Kojima cloning program, is all I'm sayin'.
