Aside from a website jam-packed with video of the game (including the trailer you see above and two more after the break), the publisher released a handful of screens that we've added to a gallery for your perusal just below. Don't say we never did nothin' for ya!

What the hell, this is an adventure game?
Unless I've just had my head in the sand I'd like to know why this has better cel-shading effects than most popular mainstream games?
Only other title I can think of which looks close to hand drawn is Ultimate Ninja Storm, but even then that had some odd line and shading issues during certain camera angles.

Because almost the entire trailer (and, probably, the game) is made of pre-rendered video clips? Just guessing.
I want to know what it looks like on DS. (As well as 'is it any good'.) Shame there isn't a Wii version, from my point of view (I don't play PC games).

Don't bother with this, unless they fixed it you'll need a "1280×1024 native" anything else it wont work

The first one was brilliant, and I still need to pick up Dream of the
Turtle.
Oh and Crayfish - the probable reason for the great celshading is down to the graphical style the developers went with: The backgrounds are 2D hand drawn things, so in most scenes the 3D character is the only object that needs to be rendered.
This means that much more detail can be put into them as the developer doesn't have to worry about twenty of them being on screen at once.
Higher resolution shadows and a fixed point lighting setup probably help as well.
