That's clearly more than any old dragon. Real dragons usually have, you know, flesh?

I like it how they threw in some Lord of the Rings music in there right at the end!
Every time I hear that music I think.....
Gandalf: You Shall Not Pass!

I think you mean a 1000 MB, which is 1 GB. But, if they can do games on demand, which are essentially full games, I see no reason for them to not be able to offer this as just some really big DLC. I'd guess 2-3 GB.
Expansions essentially work in congruency with the existing content. So, I'd have to guess that this is just a large file that would need to be copied to the hard drive anyways and you'd use your Dragon Age Origins disc for the master (and copyright) to play the game. Like how Shivering Isles was for Oblivion.

I did mean gamerscore.. DO:A could be 1000gs on it's own disc (or possible download), with character import ala Mass Effect(s).. or is it just like the GTA4 DLC, and just add on to the existing DA:O for about 500pts.. I had the impression Origins would get about 5 dlcs, 3 of which we've had..

So far it's been said it will be both a retail disc as well as DLC. Information is still short, but given how stingy they were with achievements for previous DLC, only 115 points for three items and the maximum of 1750, I think it's safe to assume the disc will be more like Episodes of Liberty City or the Fallout retail DLC, and not have a full 1000. Never know for certain until they tell us though

This Awakening DLC with be pretty much the same as Shiver Isle for Oblivion. So look at it's achievements and you get the rough idea.

Oh look, more hyping of back add-ons to a bad game. Seriously, Mass Effect 2 is out, there is no reason why anyone in their right mind should be playing Dragon Age.

but don't you see??? There was just TOO MUCH epic content to fit in dragon age they need a whole expansion! nevermind that ME2 is on two discs, it's definitely not a sign they just crapped out DA before ME2 to pick up undeserved sales and hype!

ME2 was also undeniably more graphically intensive, and probably had much more voice acting given that not only do npcs speak and have dozens of different responses, but so does your male/female/paragon/renagade protagonist as opposed to Dragon Age's silent Grey Warden. But i wouldn't expect this level of though from you gutsman

what are you talking about, you just admitted mass effect had much more effort put into it.
you also didn't really address what I said. if ME2 has a lot of stuff in it that necessitated two discs, why couldnt this expansion have come with the game and it would have been two discs too? oh yeah. because it was filler bullshit.

Why so much anger? People like you are the reason non-gamers think that all gamers are immature, feebleminded consumer whores.
Both games are great. If you didn't enjoy DA:O, its your problem, not the developer's. In the future, feel free to keep your opinion to yourself if you have nothing intelligent to say.

Same story here, I was so sad when it happened.
On the other hand, I really like that your decisions have consequences in this game and you get more than just a different cinematic in the end of the game.
