I only got a handful of levels into Trine before Assassin's Creed 2 and Mass Effect 2 whisked me away, but it's definitely worth 10 bucks. Go get it.

Well plenty of people do use it, and presumably those who don't want to have to be running impulse etc when running games from it.

I try to, but they don't always have the same selection as steam.

I was one of those who didn't want to be using it :(

If Demigod didn't require it I don't think I would have ever heard about it.

Over? No. But that doesn't mean people don't use it to. Do you only shop at a single store IRL?

I thought Impulse is less DRMy than Steam? I mean, I don't mind Steam and I've never used Impulse, but that would be one good reason to use it.

Well, actually it was $5 for one day on Steam. But it is still totally worth it for $10, especially if you play with two other people. That's what I loved about Trine. 3 player co-op on my computer.
