Weekly Webcomic Wrapup is thinking of the iPossibilities

There hasn't been a lot of love from the usual internet channels for Apple's recently-announced iPad -- but we're actually pretty intrigued by one of the device's less-advertised strengths: It'd be great for reading webcomics. They'd look magnificent on that big, glossy screen, which auto-orients itself to cater to vertical and horizontal strips. Also, if you get upset after reading a really terrible webcomic, a soothing round of Super Monkey Ball is just a few screen-touches away.

BitF was pretty funny, I completely forgot about that dude...but for some strange reason, I feel like playing Wind Waker now...

Obligatory explanation of my opinion because I know you're dying to know why/how I voted:

I originally was going to just vote PA after reading it, but decided to check the other ones out just to make sure they weren't any funnier; to my surprise I actually laughed at The Legendary Boys of Floyd.

Thus I voted for it post-haste.

And so ends the story of why my sense of humor is lamer than everyone else's.

A very strong week though.

Surprise win from Shyeah for me. Penny Arcade was okay, but it's nothing I hadn't thought about myself since I heard about the show months back.

The PA on the iPad was hilarious though.

Except we're not voting on the iPad one...

The iPad one is only really funny if you read the one on the iPad rumors (back before people knew it would be called the iPad).

Penny Arcade....the real reason why I scrapped my audition tape....

@chris: PE got my vote too. It would be funnier if it wasn't so true. Having been there it is no prize, and from what my peers have told me since I got out of the testing biz, other companies are even worse. Without naming names, this is only a very slight exaggeration.

Penny Arcade for the tester is truly the worst contest of all time, what's next? The Fluffer?

His art really sells it, honestly. It's pretty much non-topical nonsense, but still technically the funniest video game comic I've seen this week, haha.

Bitf got my vote this week, the art style really suits a Wind Waker strip

I preferred the Bunkmates strip of BitF, but Small Fry wasn't too bad, either.

BitF was awesome, and I really liked the art style

I really don't understand why Bitf is awesome, the series in general. Art seems kinda wiggly and slapped together. I've gone back like 30 comics and was not really impressed, especially the Mario Carol. :/

I'm somewhat partial to Shyeah myself. :)
