I wish Natsume would develop an Animal Crossing game.

What? They're two different companies so they can't just bring out an AC game. Unless you meant make a game similar to AC but I'm pretty sure they'd get sued for that.

I want an XBLA Harvest Moon! Imagine the DLC, they could add new events and places for you to visit. Make it 2d and it make it more playable. Just pretty much an enhanced Harvest Moon 64.

Personally, I LOVED Harvest Moon 64. Loved it. One of my favourite games of all time, yet... every other Harvest Moon game I try feels like garbage to me, even if it is similar to HM64. I still play the the game on my computer time to time since my 64 is in some box downstairs back home.

I remember playing the SNES version and was a bit miffed at the inability of watering the center square of a 3x3 crop formation.

While I appreciate the comedic value of "upgrade your watering can, bitch", I'm not sure you could. I also remember having to make 3 x 3 squares w/ a hole in the middle and being annoyed by it.

idk but I'm playing Friends of Mineral Town and you can upgrade your watering can to do the whole 3x3 grid at once.

Friggin awesome! Can't wait for this, even better that it's on the PSP. No stupid touch screen gimmicks thrown in just because.

As i said on the other Harvest Moon post, i am a massive Harvest Moon fan, but the recent ones like Innocent Life are just.....bad. The last harvest moon is really adored was the one on GBA (Friends of Mineral Town), however the latest DS Harvest Moon (Sunshine Islands) wasnt too bad. This sounds like a PSP Port of Save the Homeland which was a great Harvest Moon game.

Have you played Rune Factory? That first game hooked me so bad.

Hehe, well it looks better on the PSP, after all the img quality isn't very nice, plus, I'm playing the japanese version, and I think it's good.

I don't know, I think the Harvest Moon games Natsume's been putting out these last few years really don't hold up to the same standards as the older games, I think the last one I had the most fun with was A Wonderful Life, and even Rune Factory 1 was great, but the N64 game is still my favourite. I'm glad Hero of Leaf Valley has a less "cutesy" look to it (unlike ToT or AP) but I have a feeling it won't be much different than what we've already seen (and since I've played Save The Homeland countless times as a kid, I don't think I'll be missing much.)
