Listen, Kojima knows that he disappointed a lot of people by delaying the release of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in Japan, and believe us, he feels bad about it. In fact, we'd argue that he's probably being just a bit too hard on himself. Writing on the Kojima Productions blog (as translated by Andriasang) Kojima wrote, "I always preach to the staff, 'You must not have a delay after a release date has been announced. There is no greater crime as a game developer.'"
We appreciate the sentiment, but we think Mr. Kojima might have temporarily forgotten some other heinous crimes: box puzzles; not having "Continue" as the first menu option; letting the game timer run while it's paused; horse armor; limited installs; ruining the A.I. director; and being on Facebook.

Also on the list of developer crimes: Taking away crucial abilities you had in previous installments. I want my crawling and FPV, Kojima productions!!

You forgot unskippable cut-scenes, especially right before boss fights where you will probably get killed the first time around. Actually, that one should carry the death penalty.

Developer crimes
- Let us save anywhere you assholes. I don't care if Johnny 15 year old save-crawls his way through a game. That doesn't effect me. What does effect me is when, in this being the online generation and all, I get an invite to a game with my friends and I have to choose between losing the last 20 minutes of gameplay I just went through or trying to wait for the next save point and hoping their MP game doesn't fill up in the meantime.
- WHY THE HELL CAN WE NOT CUSTOMIZE OUR OWN DAMNED CONTROLS? WHY?
- Give us more host options in friends only rooms. I understand not wanting to have people find weird differences in random public games they join, but if I'm playing a game in a private room with only friends we should have a LOT more options than what we're given.

Haha, all Jostiq ever talks about is how hard L4D2 was. Yeah, it was cute that their WHOLE review was about the difficulty, but now it's just getting a tad bit annoying. Seriously, some of us actually liked the game, believe it or not.
Joystiw, if you're going to repeat something over and over, at least let it be Dead Space Girl.

I can think of a greater crime than delaying a game: rushing a game to market to hit a release date and having it end up like Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. You're winner!

Exactly, that's why I found the reference so amusing. But let's not dwell on what's already taken place and cannot be halted, lest we get into an argument about the validity of DLCs, again, for the 1000th time on the Internet, I'm sure.
