It may be the shortest month in terms of days, but February is no slouch when it comes to new releases. We've got plenty of heavy hitters including BioShock 2, Heavy Rain and Dante's Inferno.
You know, we heard it a lot when games kept getting delayed out of fall of 2009, but we think the reality is finally dawning on us just now: There will never again not be new games. We're not sure we can handle it, frankly.

Why is the game called Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing.....
isn't Sonic a sega all star? Oh wait Sonic has been in terrible 3D games far a long time, I guess he can't even be considered an all star anymore!

Just Heavy Rain and maybe Bioshock 2 for me. I want to get Risen for 360 if the American port turns out ok, but that will probably drop in price really fast.

Looking forward to playing Heavy Rain. Is White Knight Chronicles turn based?

ATB is just another way to say turn based, so in that case yes it does. It's not pure turn based like FF 10, but you still have to wait for a bar to charge and by the time it does you've been hit once at least.

It's in between and is neither true real time nor true turn based. Level 5 has never done me wrong and with all the content and features the game is packing its going to be an amazing game.

I own White Knight Chronicles. The battle system is almost an exact replica of Final Fantasy XI.

I'm very conflicted as to what to buy this month. On the one hand, Heavy Rain speaks to the side of me that likes deep dramatic turmoil and lifelike characters, but on the other hand, AVP lets me rip out people's spines. Decisions decisions

AvP is out this month?! WTF?!?! Oh well, gonna wait on the scores just to make sure it's not a 100% cash-in title; maybe just 90%.

I really liked the original BioShock, so I'm anxious to play BioShock 2. But I think I'm going to put off getting it until I put in more time with Mass Effect 2, and tackle Dragon Age.

There's only one game I care about this month, and it's the oft-overlooked Aliens VS. Predator! Ships Feb 16th.

Games to pick up for me for sure:
Bioshock 2 (Yes I Am getting it)
Dante's Inferno (Having read the book I'm hoping the game improves upon the original with more tea bagging)
Aliens Vs. Predator
Games that stand a good chance of being picked up in the future:
White Knight Chronicles

I remember when first reading the inferno that it was lacking the requisite amount of tea-bagging. (Really, the walls of the City of Dis...and there wasn't a tea-bag there!? What a missed opportunity. )
It's about time Dante's vision was properly displayed to the world!

The publishers schedules for 2008 were a little crazy, launching all the mid budget games up against the heavy hitting FIFA type titles. The publishers of course over compensated in 2009/2010 by moving every single game other than the heavy hitter into a 2 week window at the end of January when nobody has any money.
The publishers will draw the only logical conclusion; that is there is no market for good games, and will release 437 casual friendly titles on the 19th July 2011 and no other games at all next year.

Last Rebellion had rather poor scores from Famitsu when it released in Japan last week: 7/6/6/5. Maybe it won't be something to look forward to. Still, it has some nice wallpapers available in the PS Store, including one by Mikimoto Haruhiko (character designer who broke out through his work on the original Macross).

Heavy Rain and Ace Attorney Investigations for me.
I'm probably not going to get anything else for a few months. I still have like 5 unfinished games from last year...

Yep, definitely doing the Star Trek Online thing. If they can keep the servers up!
Eyeing Heavy Rain, too... but between STO, Mass Effect 2, BFBC2 demo, Steam versions of Max Payne and XCOM, and interspersed MW2 sessions, who has time to keep up??
