Hopefully... not. Those Australian adults are completely irresponsible and dangerous compared to the rest of the world. They do not deserve to enjoy the same games that have existed in other countries for a few years now. Think of the children.

Please know I'm only joking. I love Australia.

I realize you're joking, but Rupert Murdoch is Australian, and he is arguably the single most destructive, negative human being on the planet at this point. :(

@AoE

You mean this point in human history?

Worse then Hitler, Stalin?

That is such a ridiculous statement I have to believe you are just parroting someone else.

You little kids and your firm belief that you know all that there is to know.

A point in human history is a single event. That sounds like you're taking it a little too far. And I think AoE's Australian, so he's kinda pissed (which he should be- if I had no L4D2, I would go apeshit).

@Kilau,

Did I say at this point in human history? Or did i say at this point? Which does it look like to you? Since the English language is apparently a bit much for you, you might want to read this:

http://www.allwords.com/word-at+this+point+in+time.html

If I meant in all of history, I would have said all of history jackass.

Also the fact that you said "you little kids" betrays the fact that you're most likely quite young yourself; when you get to by my age, the age of others isn't very important. So do us all a favor and hit the books more than blogs, it's clear you need education still.

Uh, no

If you are talking about a point meaning today, as of right now?

Then no, Rupert Murdoch has not inflicted mass genocide as far as I know, please prove me wrong. He is also not in charge of a repressive regime. You people are ridiculous.

Australia has L4D2, it has been censored, but it is there. Australia is a democratic nation, if the people don't like it, they will change it.

one bit I wanted to add: Why did i name Murdoch? Well, you'll note that over the past few years there has been a dangerous, rather violent right-wing movement growing specifically in English-speaking countries. All markets where Murdoch has strong, right-winger media outlets, most of whom are deeply irresponsible and basically propaganda machines. We know that Fox News is responsible in no small part for the dramatic lowering of discourse in the US over the past decade or so, for example.

I was however making a joke, I didn't mean to condemn all Australians along with Murdoch. I hope this was understood, but with people as stupid as Kilau around, I guess it's really not safe to assume anything.

Yeah, and Bill O'Reillyand Rush Limbaugh were behind the 9-11 attacks. You ignorant little extremist are so sad and pathetic.

You shift blame anyway way you can. Call me stupid, it's the natural way you try to win, just like you pull the Fox News card, like that wins any argument. Fox News like any cable channel is tabloid TV. Just like CNN, or MSNBC.

Here is how I win, Good bye loser.

Talk to yourself and the rest of the ignorant people

Yeah, it is truly a shame that a sovereign nation can have it's own laws and moral codes that are different from the perfect society that we have in the United States.

You freaking moron

I'm really confused by your first statement. Has the law changed such that only women with B cups are larger can be displayed nude? Or were A cupped women the only ones allowed to be shown nude before, and now there is no nudity at all? I need clarification!

Mystile's right. If I wanted to see a half naked woman with no boobs I could easily get that on the internet where I could rewind and fast forward as much as I want. Google is your best friend

I dunno, KIlau, I think it is an even bigger shame that the Australians aren't allowed to think and be themselves without the government narrowing their lives down to a single road.

I am not an AU specialist, but it is a democratic nation, the people vote there.

Same as what happens in the US. That is why I am a Libertarian and everyone else should be.

Get the government our of your lives and let us live. If you think the US is a free nation, then you truly are ignorant.

"everyone else should be [a Libertarian]."

"If you think [this] is a free nation, then you truly are ignorant."

So I shouldn't choose my own political beliefs and be free to express them? Instead I should subscribe to what you believe to be correct?

Isn't that also kinda like taking away freedoms? I mean this nation isn't perfect, no nation is, but I hardly see how ditching one leader for another is any better.

I live a comfortable life and so do many of my friends. We (as in the people in the US) also help out others quite often. I'm content with the way things are here. Why should I rally for change when what we have works better than that which is untested and unproven to work?

This one approves of EB games' endorsement. This one wonders if the gentleman, who goes by the alias of Michael Atkinson, will discontinue his short-sighted campaign of ignorance.

Remember, when there was only ignorance, the Enkindlers gave us wisdom.

This one wishes the best for Australian interactive entertainment consumers.

@AoE

You talk like a little ignorant kid, age is always relevant. I am not going to get into an age argument on the internet, it is pointless.

I could be 12 and you could be 70, but in all likely hood you are at most 25 and you think you have seen everything.

If I am not actually older than you (which I seriously doubt) you are a very ignorant individual that has never opened their eyes.

Books are great, you should try them yourself one day, before you die of your ripe old age.

It's near embarrassing how left behind us Aussies are in the gaming world. Fight the good fight, I signed the petition when I saw the signs in my local EB yesterday.

There have been so few games banned in Australia it hardly makes an impact.

Most things are rated in far lower in Australia then the US anyway. Example, no Saw films are rated above MA15+ or Inglourious Basterds is MA15+ and so on.

It's because of those Aussies that New Zealand got a censored version of GTA IV.

Ironically... the censored version got MA15+ in Australia, yet got R18 in New Zealand. Why are they pushing the "think of the children" aspect, when it gets these games into more childrens hands?
