Well, you can't say we didn't warn you. Writing on his Twitter feed, Penny Arcade money man Robert Khoo says that 3-day badges for PAX East have officially sold out. If you missed out, you can still get onto the show floor by buying a single-day pass.
Be warned: Only 1,000 passes remain for Saturday, and with a Joystiq Blueberry Muffin Tops Breakfast that morning and a Joystiq Podcast Live recording that night, Saturday would be a very bad day to miss.
[Thanks, Ben]

I've been to Blizzcon for the past two years, but I felt it time to shift towards a more "general purpose" gaming convention this year. It's pretty cool being a part of a "first," too. Even if it's just another leg of an already awesome convention.

I'd love to go to this, but seeing that my wife is having health problems as of late, & having a 21 month old daughter it wouldn't be feasible in the least.

I've been to all six West Coast PAXes as well (living in the Seattle area does have its advantages) and this year's was by far the best one I'd been to. I'll have to make sure to get my pass well in advance this year though; almost managed to get in too late last year, and it was only by sheer luck that I ended up getting to go for more than one day.
