I can kind of agree, but what is the point of having multiple consoles without exclusivity? You might as well just be buying a computer.
I'm fine with exclusivity. I'll pick the console that provides the most games I like, and pass on the other one(s). The only time anyone gets screwed is when they buy a console before it's proven to be a good value, and then it turns out not to be.

I just want this game to come out on anything. After hearing the rumours about how this game was in development hell, being delayed 4 times, making Sony loose 20mil, and the whole ordeals at Rockstar. I am glad that GI is releasing this issue to let us know this game wont become the next DNF.

Platforms have never really been confirmed in the first place. The rumor was that LA Noire was the exclusive in exchange for the GTA IV exclusivity deal being re-negotiated but that was confirmed to be Agent. I don't really care if it's exclusive because I just want to play it. This game reminds me of The Black Dahlia which is one of my favorite movies ... thats a win in my book. I'm OK with 360 only guys getting to play it and hell I even support the decision.

I really do not see a reason for not stating the platform for the game unless they are going to make a big deal out of it. Remember that Sony had a chance to make this game exclusive but decided that it's wasn't worth the coin
You know MS isn't shy about spending for 6 months to a year exclusive so I wouldn't be surprise if MS didn't put up a bid.
Personally I see no reason for this game to be exclusive to the PS3 unless Rockstar can truly make this game head and shoulders what they could do if they supported both platforms. Sales alone of GTAIV shows there is a very strong 360 crowd so giving up that money means their has to be something totally worth it to go exclusive, especially if Sony isn't providing any coin.

Or disc capacity. If they start pushing 3 discs, it's dicey. Anything over 25GB and it'll probably be a PS3 exclusive.

Really Mass Effect 2 is ground breaking and Uncharted 2 is mediocre at best? This coming from the guy that is defending the latest troll to get banned. ME2 is good, heck a great game because of its story, but certainly not ground breaking. WRPG's really came into their own a while back and there's a game called "Fallout" that begs to differ with your "ME2 is ground breaking".
As for UN2 it won almost every one over with the exception a few with bad taste, and jealously of not being able to play the game. UN2 had a better script than most movies that I'm sure you rave about to you friends, so spare us the UN2 is mediocre crap.

I've been a long time lurker (back when fernando rocker was the big fanboy). I find the comments section here the funniest I've seen! Everyone seems to take themselves so seriously and fall into so many clichés and stereotypes. Everyone calling each other fanboys or accusing someone of doing something (trolling for example) and failing to realise that they're doing the exact same thing half the time. Seriously, I can smell the irony before I've even clicked 'comments' and when you're on the outside looking in, I can tell you; it's hilarious!
