It must have been thrilling to have been in the crowd, and it did indeed feel like a celebration, only the exultant atmosphere was marred somewhat by the knowledge that not everyone was overjoyed to have the band

Pretty sweet.

Too bad most if not all of those Who songs are already up in their full versions in the Rock Band store, but it'll be pretty epic to play all together at once.

So are they lip syncing the show? Or are they making a mash up with studio songs?

I wonder how they are doing this so quickly, I seem to remember Harmonix claiming that note tracking songs was lots of work and that's why you had to pay the outrageous $2/song price (yea I'm cheap). I know licenses are a big part of that but I wonder what the breakdown really is.

Halftime shows are rehearsed constantly, HMX possibly got permission to record the perfected practice before the actual show.

That is why Ashley Simpson got booed of stage. She never practiced.

It would have all been arranged / prepared way in advance, the set-list for the half-time show would have been confirmed ages ago and the songs programmed in time for the release of the DLC

I'm pretty sure she got booed off the stage because... IT WAS ASHLEY SIMPSON!

So is this going to be like a long non-stop RB track?

The Who is amazing. So are all these songs. Pinball Wizard is where it's at.

Sadly, "Nipplegate" has ensured we will never again see any group 1) under 60 2) female sing during the Super Bowl halftime ever again.

Not even Carol Channing? :(

And if we are stuck with geriatric acts for the near future--and we are--can we at least make sure they're American geriatric acts? The Canadians do this so much better than we do--you'll never catch a non-Canadian act at the Grey Cup.

You sir, deserve a huge tip this weekend. Thanks for providing me with my three stuffed crust extra large super supreme pizza, double order of cheesey bread, an order of buffalo burnin' hot wings, and my assorted variety of 2-liters. Without you, I would have to get off my ass and pick it up myself.

Thank you. Thank you so much.

First of all, The Who is one of the last surviving Super Groups- one of the greatest bands ever, 2nd the last two generations hasn't produce jack ! it the same rodundant, crap. all their cords, there scales of any instrument has no originality what so ever, as for lyrics, same thing, it has all been played & said before. Todays music has been stuck in a rut since the 90's, and any thing new hasn't surfaced yet. The reason you haven't heard any serious professional gutair licks, because the last two generations haven't got the talent to do so. They just SUCK!
