Until your teammates begin to camp next to the helicopter pad, only to fly it backwards into a mountainside... It's funny the first 10 times they do it, but then it just gets ridiculous.

They do have helicopters. I accidentally crashed one last night by landing it upside down on a building. I was able to get out and jump down before it blew up though :)

Heh, took about 5 minutes to find an empty match, and then I left it idling in the lobby for 10 minutes. Not a single other player in sight. Utter garbage... I mean I want to play the game, I want it to be badass, but if the game can't run, don't release a damn demo.

Alright, I *finally* got a match going on the 360 version (probably a matter of patience more than console brand) and it pretty much sucks out loud. The marine weapons feel underpowered, but the alien players are so damn skittish they must have pretty low HP as well...

I only had one other guy in the match with me, and he couldn't slip past my motion tracker, so as long as I put my back against a wall near an ammo spawn point, I was basically invincible. If there had been two aliens, it would've been a simple pincer move to kill me since it seems to take almost a full clip to bring down one alien. Graphics are dated, controls are stiff, and level design, even for a simple deathmatch mode, seemed pretty uninspired.

Blargh. I'm completely disappointed.

I have not had a single problem getting into games. I played it for hours today, really addicting game. The Netcode in the game is fantastic. I literally had virtually no lag in the game, only in one match did I have a noticeable lag (it was only one time). That was against my brother in Washington state (I am in upstate NY). Otherwise out of a few dozen matches the game was great. I love being the predator. Stalking people and aliens is awesome. I pickup the mines and drop them in random spots and watch people and aliens blow themselves up.

Did anyone else just notice that the playstation store is all heart themed? Also, I have to say we got a decent set of demos this week. I'm a little disappointed by the AVP demo being multiplayer, because I really wanted to check out the single player.

They still havnt fixed the AvP demo yet. Seriously, i LOVE what ive played (4 matches at 10 mins long each). But if the retail game is going to be like this, then farg that poop im not waiting 2+ hours just to get into a freaking match

I'm right there with you man. At least we get a few dynamic themes a month. But still the amount offered for avatars is pathetic for how simple they are to make. It's not like they are actually animated like I was hoping they would be.
