Echoshift, a PSP-ified second-cousin to PS3 puzzler echochrome, will have a demo out sometime in February. A post on the PlayStation Blog notes the game will have 56 levels, with additional downloadable levels through PSN. Hopefully the game will receive the same extensive community support bestowed upon echochrome.
As we noted in our hands-on, if you're looking for a primer to the game, feel free to try Yoshio Ishii's Cursor*10 or its sequel.

Never got the original even though the demo was pretty good. Might try this one out. Seems more suited to a portable system.

I'll definitely try out the demo. I really liked echochrome and played it enough to actually get on the leaderboards, but I'm not completely sold on getting Echoshift.
Why does Echoshift get a capital 'E,' unlike its older sibling?

This look like it could be really interesting.
I tried to like echochrome, but it made my head hurt because it was starting at a light bulb.
Was it ever possible to change the colors?
