We need Medal of Honor: World War I. While I do know that modern warfare is pretty hot right now, it'd be interesting to see another war that hasn't been done to death in the last five years. Modern war is becoming the new World War II.

World War I is a familiar, yet distant setting to many past games. It's something that could be promising.

That wasn't the entire war, you know. It only became a war of attrition later on, and that was when everyone just shelled the hell out of each other. Think of the Somme's battlefields, and even the Argonne Offensive. Those involved trenches, but much of it was just getting out of No Man's Land and into the German lines. Fighting through trenches (and going over the top) could be a very cinematic and interesting thing to do. I'd like to play it.

I know there was more to it, but that's essentially the meat of WW1. Running from trench-to-trench and capturing artillery placements would get old fast. I debated the concept of a Canadian 'Stormtrooper' oriented game awhile back with a few friends, we all thought it would be awesome...but then realized, it would get old faster than the most linear of shooters you could come up with. I know what you mean, though...WW1 has some very interesting places and battles that would be interesting to explore, I just don't see how they would work in a video game.

Medal of Honor coming in Summer not Fall? Smart move. Halo: Reach, Gears 3, and COD7 would have eaten MOH whole.

Here's hoping that the new MOH doesn't have weapons from 1887, akimbo, HS/thermal, or guys that s**t nades out their ass when they die.

Nah, they're going for more realism than MW2

Note: Realistic shooters are the least enjoyed games. You want real life, go join the Rangers or Marines.

Because WE ALL KNOW that Counterstrike is REALISTIC right?
You want realism in a shooter, go play some ARMA or Operation Flashpoint.

Medal Of Honour looks quite good, I'm mildly excited, however this is the start of every war game being set in modern times.

I hope they don't ruin it with perks that let you run 50mph, stab people from 20ft away, and dual-wielding shotguns that require no aim from 100ft.

I heard they've already cut out a new game mode out of MOH: Capture The Beard. Unfortunately the first person to grab the beard became an unstoppable killing machine, making the mode not very fun.

They were going to nerf the beard, but the programmer assigned this task disappeared under mysterious circumstances. They decided it was safer to leave the beard alone.

EA is shooting themselves in the foot by releasing Medal of Honor the same year as Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Enough of these shooters, already.

I think they could also focus on some Asian Wars.. Belonging to the gorkha breed, I would like to see a game which focuses on the Gorkha regiments of both India and Britain.. It could even be one with RPG mechanics.. lol..
