The art style is simple, but it works for the Wii, and what counts is that hte ghosts look creepy -- more importantly it's that the scares are well-timed and that they take their time to make the audio scary. I'm excited to see Hudson do a survival horror game and I read and interview, the producer is an experienced guy who's done a lot at Konami.

As for the "badgame'" comment, it scored 8/7/7/6 in Famitsu -- http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-6894-SF-Console-Game-Examiner~y2009m11d10-Famitsu-review-scores-1112

Besides that perfectly decent score, all the Hands-on previews have been positive:

I find that hudson's games -- whether Bomberman, Adventure Island, or Mario Party -- never score very well, but their always fun, and that doesn't stop millions of people from enjoying them.
