Dark Void bombing wasn't a surprise.

Dark Void for DSWare being better than the console version was.

Man, even MW2 only hits like 15% of people playing, is everyone else really still just playing WoW?

I miss lan parties where there were a diverse mix of games, now if I go to look up stuff on PC games it's all MW2 or WoW or some console crossovers.

:(

RTS needs to make a come back.

Mass Effect 2 deserves all the accolades and sales it gets - seeing as how it's one of the best games ever made. In cinematic presentation alone it sets new standards in the medium. If you have a 360 or a gaming PC and haven't picked it up yet, you're doing things so, so wrong.

It's not too terrible, heh! At least you plan on getting to it. And I fully support your call to play the first one before starting the sequel. ME1 is still a great game, even if ME2 is a lot better!

Really, the way the story elements carry over make the experience so much better. And since you can grab ME1 on the cheap, it's totally worth it.

I think it's pretty cool that the lines oscillate slightly based on whether or not it was the weekend. Okay, that may not have been the right way to use the word 'oscillate', but I don't care...

This might not be the right place, but I recently got Mass Effect 1 for PC and it turns out the port is very shitty. It just won't run properly, my PC specs are good enough and I downloaded the patch, tried many drivers and other various tricks mentioned on old forums concerning the issues. Despite all my attempts the game still crashes randomly every 15 minutes or so. It's infuriating and it's souring my experience with the game. Mass Effect simply appears to be completely incompatible with my graphics card (Nvidia 9800 gtx+).

Is anyone here familiar with this problems and in someway help me out? I'm getting desperate here. :P

Try posting something on the Bioware Social forums, you'll get more help there. In any case, the port by Demuirge is actually quite good. I found it to be quite stable and I liked how they took advantage of the keyboard.

I'm glad I wasn't the first person to notice the graph's timeline. "Jan 1, 2010 to Feb 4, 2010" great use of statistics on GamerDNA's part to show slightly skewed results. Don't get me wrong though, I'm glad ME2 is doing extremely well. I just hate how most entities use statistics in the most annoyingly misleading ways possible.

He never mentioned the Playstation. Trolling isn't just being off topic, it's saying things to be a jerk and get a reaction. That comment was pure trolling. Stop trying to defend your ignorance, admit your mistake and move on.

Based on the mixed reviews of FF (ie: not perfect) and the fact that the series isn't the powerhouse it used to be, at least in NA, I believe it will.

I'm not sure the two games appeal to the same audience. A lot of the RPG nerds seem to despise ME2, but more FPS-ish gamers like me seem to love it.

RPG nerds seem to hate everything though.

No it was trolling. You were being a prick for the sake of being a prick and to try and start drama. On top of that you couldn't even be bothered to have proper context on your trolling which makes it an even more obvious troll session.
__
Did mag even chart?

lol

does "very small action game" sound catchy?
__

You were trolling Mag. Period.

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=trolling+definition
Trolling:
-Being a prick on the internet because you can. Typically unleashing one or more cynical or sarcastic remarks on an innocent by-stander, because it's the internet and, hey, you can.
- Trolling is the act of purposefully antagonizing other people on the internet, generally on message boards.
- Act of appearing on internet forums and boards with malicious intent. Trolling includes... batting people to flame at you

Understand now why it was trolling or are you going to continue the charade?

Exactly, most of those games compared came out a few months ago. If you release a game with no other games coming out around that time obviously the new one is gonna sell.

I can't wait for this game to keep busting out sales.

It's an amazing game. And even though Bioware is a bit arrogant about it, and needs to realize there are quite a few things they can do to improve for ME3, I still love it.

Top game of all time.

I don't get why no one major is really emulating Bioware's dialogue system still. Bioware has been at it for years, but everyone just leaves that turf to them.

I hope ME2 is so successful that every major company starts to consider doing something like ME2.

Man, I wish Edgadget would get new editors.

People playing a game does not dirrectly equate to people BUYING a game!!!!

The chart Joystiq used shows ONLY people PLAYING the game. One does not have to BUY the game to PLAY the game.

Maybe the uppercase words will sink in to the editors brains.

Not to mention, the game was only played 6-1 for 11 days of the month, not the whole money, so their math skills are lacking too.

When can we get real unbiased factual news back to engadget and it's partners?

ME2 is deserving of the sales numbers. It's an excellent game with a few faults (running out of ammo is a bad idea, and scanning planets is boring and tedious).
