Seeing as the game's more focused on the classic System Legos and that the Bionicle line has unfortunately been cancelled, we won't be seeing them in this game. Though that whole storyline in the opening is definitely reminiscent of the whole Shattering event that triggered the whole Bionicle storyline
Ironically I'm browsing this right now on my phone, which doesn't have flash support, so all I see where the trailer should be is the broken flash logo... A single blue Lego block.
