I have a feeling Sony would prefer to concentrate on MAG.

Ever Since Socom 1 the campaigns have sucked. But the point of the game has always been multiplayer.Is just that Slant Six isnt Zipper tho.

I'm impressed with the graphics, it's almost as good as a Wii game.

The sad thing is that you're right. But the Wii is capable of much more (Mario Galaxy for example), it's just the debs aren't pushing the hardware.

There's not a whole lot of hardware to push. Especially not when you've got to concentrate on making motion controls that work and still make it out by ship date.

Games don't have to have motion controls. I prefer games that make use of the best new feature this gen, the IR pointer.

@Bradwart:

Red Steel 2 and The Conduit beg to differ.

Sadly, because the game isn't available until Feb 16., we weren't able to play any co-op.

A few other reviewers have pointed out that this game is very similar to the last two. In my opinion, why change a game system that works? I really enjoyed FTB1 and 2. And yes, even Tactical Strike.

I really like Tactical Strike. As for the control of this game, it really is identical to the other two FTB games, but the story is way more action-focused. More than any other SOCOM title currently available.

It feels more like THE UNIT (or 24). Not SOCOM.

I've watched that trailer and i'm intrigued about the controls.

How do you aim in an FPS without two analogue sticks?? Sadly i've never seen anybody play one on a psp...

Basically, they designate one of the shoulder buttons (L1 most likely) as a "lock-on" action. That way you use the one analog to move, and L1 to lock-on to enemies.

But if you change your view to scope-mode, then the analog controls the aiming.
