Really? I recently bought it (reeeeeally cheap, like 6.99 € new) and everytime I try to play it, I end up either falling asleep or surfing the interwebs on my notebook. You don't even have to look at the screen, just throw out some commands and let your units defeat everyone.

what did it for you in end war? I couldn't get past rock-paper-scissors... and i know a lot of RTS's have that at their core, but this one really blanded me out

I played it, but seriously, a RTS where you can only have, what 5 units in play? It was really just "Attack with helicopters until you run into anti air, hit that with artillery, continue attacking with helicopters."

You obviously haven't faced a true enemy. Counter-measure:
"Order transports to remote location"
"air strike hostile (artillery)"
Ever tried going online? Trust me, there are good players out there. Not that many who still play the game though :-/ .

I attempted to play online but sat in waiting rooms for an eternity due to the poor matchmaking system. The campaign was nice until you started losing territories towards the end despite winning the individual match participated in. The platinum required amazing feats of strength online while beating the campaign three times.

Huh, I've always wanted to try this game out! The demo had me hooked for a while (despite having no understanding of the rules-why did that base get nuked?! Who cares!?) and I would have loved to rent it. I'm sure I can find it really cheap now... too bad from these comments, there's nobody to play with and the AI is too easy...
