I already pay for Live (willingly for many reasons discussed before). But If this happens, I'll just play another game. No additional moneys from me, Activision, sorry.

This isnt about Modern Warfare 2 and the current Call of Duty games, this is about the future of IWard. I firmly believe that the next game made by IWard will be a MMOFPS. I dont know if it is going to be called Call of Duty: whatever but i do think its going to be a modern military shooter that is subscription based MMOFPS.
Activision has two developers now to work on the traditional CoD games so that is going to free up IWard so they can start working on the MMOFPS that im talking about. I think 2010's CoD will be done by Treyarch like always then next years is going to be the follow-up to CoD:MW2. The year after that i can see them releasing the MMOFPS subscription based CoD.

...I have been playing Call of Duty games since the very first one and IWard is my favorite developer. My claims are just opinion; recent articles about Call of Duty, the new developers, and subscription interests by Activision leads to my conclusion.

They wanna do a subscription based COD?? They can barely keep MW2 and IW.net hack free, the game has more glitches you can poke a stick at, very little Australians able to get a good connection. Why the hell is one of my favourite FPS going down the shitter?

LOL, everyone will go "NO WAYY!!! just like they bitched about Rockstar when it was their turn, but you'll all go right out to the shops and sign your credit cards up as soon the next GTA/Whatever comes out and when the inevitable happens and they start charging for online CoD. Why do you think they didn't allow dedicated servers? Why do you think they hiked the price up on the game in the first place? Money is what they're interested in, nothing more.

Subscription based Call of Duty.
Okay, I'm game. I like Call of Duty and I'd be excited to see a MASSIVE CoD game, but I'm not paying a subscription for 5 multiplayer maps. Oh and updates. My subscription had better mean new maps every one to two weeks. If we see constant updates and expansions that are built into the game then bam, I'm happy.

Oh, and friggen single player. I dont want to see them screw me out of a single player experience for multiplayer. I may be one of the few people who played CoD Modern Warfare 1&2 single player and thought, HOLY ****in **** **** This is Awesome.

Oh and this, $15.00 per month thing that RPGs have... that's got to go. At $15.00 per month I'll play an old CoD or Counter Strike or any number of other free alternatives. Counter Strike got me through 5-10 years of my life and I'm pretty sure I can do without a rediculous fee.

Great. If they green light this idea then it'll be one more game in the subscription pool of other subscriptions. Will this really be worth it? Eventually, no, it won't. Online service subscriptions on top of the other subscribed games just to have a good time with video games is beginning to get out of hand.

LOL, with the extreme lack of support, lack of additional content, extreme plethora of cheating and glitching that occurs in call of duty I find it hilarious that they would even think about charging monthly fees on top of XBL subscriptions, internet bills, etc.

That's game for me. Played every COD since the first. Since Steam got on board it's been a mess. Why in the hell would anyone wanna pay for an FPS game anyway? There are a ton of them out there with no fees. Got no respect for the dirtbag that runs the show now. That melon head isn't getting a dime from me.
