When GT3 has the online capabilities, and features of Forza 3 then you can say that. Oh, wait, it was already released years ago and is now dated.

Really? Because whenever GT5 is mentioned in a F3 thread it's usually people claiming Forza is better than Gran Turismo, or that GT5 better be perfect after the long development cycle it had.

Yeah, and in GT5 threads the comments usually are

'lol three Forza games and no GT'
"is this gun ever come out? lul!"
"GT is irrevalent. Forza is here, never mind it's a 360 exclusive!"

Nice job making shit up, Bradwart. I have never seen any of those comments. It is always the Gran Turismo fanboys coming into Forza articles talking about how the game that never seems to be coming out is going to be better.

I'll shit all over the MS racing wheel, but I don't shit all over the Forza series.

For some reason people interpret pointing out the problems the Forza series has as shitting on it even when I say in the same post that GT5 is unlikely to be as good as Forza 3. Or even when I point out how Forza has come in less time than it takes Polyphony Digital to release a single game!

You're forgetting that Gran Turismo has been around since, what.. 2000?... and has a HUGE following. Its established itself has the defacto racing simulator, whether you agree or not. I mean, people who aren't even into video games know what Gran Turismo means. The other day I was talking to my brother-in-law (who's gaming experience starts and ends with the Wii) and I was talking about Forza (which he didn't have a clue about), and he offers "Oh, is it like Gran Turismo?"... and my immediate thoughts were GT has completely permeated modern Western society.

Its HUGE. GT5 will sell 10 million+ (brand recognition and momentum will move more copies than the merits of the game itself)
