Oh, btw, to the people asking about what the story would be like since Cole is already a badass and a reset would make no sense: isn't it possible that he becames the villain in a sequel? I mean, at the end of the first game he could either be a hero or satan. What if they picked the satan version to proceed with its story?

They could do a Mass Effect and you pick the save game you want from the first one. I've thought that may be a possibility since it was such a big feature of the game.

What if Cole's story has already been told and the sequel introduces a new character.

Mirror's Edge 2 has been done since the first came out. Sequel to a 2 hour long game, part of a planned trilogy? Biggest scam on Earth.

I have been loving the first game since I got it for Christmas.

A sequel was obviously a no brainer, so this news is hardly...
*sunglasses*
...shocking.

Nintendo: Replenishing Wii supply will be a 'challenge' {Joystiq}

Feb 10th 2010 8:41PM Not really. My household has a 360, Ps3 and Wii between myself and my brothers and the Wii gets played the most out of those 3 and has more games.

You live in a household with at least two brothers and you can't pay the rent? Must be tough having to be a dad to your kid and a dad to your brothers.

I know I'm in the minority when I say this (I shall take my whiteouts like a man), but I wasn't a big fan of the original Infamous. While I can understand completely why people like the game, I spent more time being frustrated with the game than having fun. Also infamous had one of the worst cover mechanics I've ever seen in a game.

So hopefully an Infamous 2 will fix all the issues I had with the game.

I'm surprised you didn't like the cover, but your not getting downvoted.

That only happens if you go 'lolololol InFAMOUse is teh gay.'

I ended up selling my 360 to pay the electric bill. I've had both systems and I figured buying a new 360 was way easier than buying a new PS3 and my roommate at the time had a 360 anyways. ...Then the slim released.

I loved inFamous and I would love a sequel but there's already a lot of titles that are releasing this year. My pockets are already hurting because of this Q1 clusterf*ck.

What am I sayin, Sucker Punch bring it on!!!

It seems too soon for another Infamous; same with Killzone. If they even are set to release this year, watch them be delayed to next year.

I hope not.... Infamous was good, and i loved it, but it had share of flaws. Even if it didn't, i want the team to really add stuff to it, improve the graphics, and not release a slightly better version within a year.

Infamous 1, is like uncharted 1/drakes fortune. It's a really, really good game, great for a first, new, fresh ip with tones of potential for sequels. Now they can release something that's slighty better, and will be considered good, if not great. Or they can take their time, and release something outstanding.

I love inFamous, and I think it's one of the best games ever made. However, will a sequel be a good thing? Sure, the ending made it obvious that there's going to be one, but I don't want the sequel to be yet more of the same. I mean it would have to be more of the same, unless they're doing something different. I rather see the focus in making a live-action inFamous movie (Jason Statham as Cole, of course).

i would not want that. Too many games to play. Still trying to beat some from last year and they're adding on waay to fast. ME2, Heavy Rain, Bioshock 2, and soon to be FFXIII and GoWIII.

Plus, the two devs should spend more time on their sequels. both need polish.

Just realized that as well, I'm going to a have a stack of games to complete by the end of march, they need to give us time to PLAY the damn things. $60 a pop, i'd like to spend more time then a couple of weekends with it. Dare I be as bold to say, Women are looking like a more affordable solution.... =\

Feels a little soon for inFamous, quite obviously it will be no Dark Knight, no Uncharted 2. But if it's done well, not just a rehash of new levels with the same engine, or some half assd multiplayer, I'd have to say I'd be intertested

infamous 2 has the potential to be a great game in my opinion. (which is based off of the first game) There is still alot to be worked on though, such as making the game better if that is possible.
