When Halo 3 multi beta released, I absolutely loved some of the item placements, such as the proxy mine. Then in the actual release, they got rid of most (if not all) the proxy mines. Very disappointing. I hope if they bring items back to Halo Reach, they bring back the items.

I also think it'd be awesome if they had a way to randomize weapon placement. So every match you don't have people following the same path to get to the same weapons. Same goes for vehicles and items and "objectives" such as the flag in CTF.

From what i've been reading, it seems like they're making it more like 1 in some ways, which is great, as 3 was somewhat of a disappointment for me. So Bungie, in the name of all that is holy and good, bring back the pistol in all its scoped awsomeness!

big risks? so maybe they'll make sure that the people playing multiplayer are actually 17+ years old? j/k

I'd love to see Firefight mode with 4 or more players with matchmaking ability (ie-friends need not apply)

Bots. c'mon Bungie, it's been years since Perfect Dark, make it happen. I need to practice my sniping skills.

It probably won't even matter that much to me what they end up doing, I'll most likely think it's awesome no matter what, and it's a definite pre-order midnight pick-up for me regardless. Can't wait for the beta this spring.

Bring it, Bungie!

As much as I've enjoyed playing Halo multiplayer since the original, and overall the experience has stayed similar over that time, I'm actually not against this. Halo could use something fresh and if it kicks me off Modern Warfare 2, then so be it. I can't say I don't miss Halo at this point and I'd love to get back into it.

It's sad because I was playing Halo 2 up until the day before Halo 3 came out. Hell we had an all nighter and I got 4 hours of sleep for school the next day. Halo 3 though isn't the same situation. I sold it about Spring time last year and haven't looked back. Even though I have ODST now, I never *really* got back into the multiplayer side of things. I'm looking forward to getting back into it with Reach.

im just glad theyre finally taking a more "bullets are bullets" approach from the few in game videos ive seen. although that could always just mean that the DMR is ridiculously powerful.

Also, know whatd be bomb? if there was a multiplayer mode that was UNSC vs Covenant, with most players as Marines/ODSTs and Grunts/Jackals respectively and then a few players per team are allowed to be Spartans or Elites. THAT WOULD BE BAMF.

You probably never heard but I actually had the idea for film saving before they chose to put it in Halo 3, no big deal though...

Anyways, I was thinking they could really add onto that feature by allowing more freedom with what you do within a film clip. For instance, you could take out a clip from a game and then have an edit mode that would allow you to change the clip, add in other clips/angles, slow down or speed up, change colors and contrast, and so forth; in essence, a Montage creator. This would allow people to make some quality films to share, and it wouldn't take 20 minutes getting the right angle at the right time. Also, something broader than the typical file share would be nice too. Maybe even a way to show streaming Film Clips/Montages????

They would benefit from having some post-kill taunts too. The tea bag is priceless, but it would be great to see a Spartan cut off an Elite's head and hold it up in the air after a sword kill (there would be risk with each of these, you could be locked in and therefore be vulnerable).
