I'm just going to go out on a limb here and guess the Megaman series is making far more money than it ever has before.

And I mean ever.

Sunk costs are extremely low for this kind of release, and a lot of people buy these games. It's wonderful shit.

I'm happy with MM9 and couldn't care less about this game, but it's the right way to handle this franchise.

Well, there had to be at least ONE person who though Battle Network was great.

If you really must know, after all these years they don't continue the story or answer any questions about what happened to Megaman, Protoman, Bass or any of the Classic characters in X. And not only that but, they could've created a this gen side scroller Megaman and it would've been so much more awesome.
But Capcom is taking it the cheap way and making it 8 bit graphics. I'm not saying 8 bit is bad, but nowadays? I didn't wait all those years for that. There are way to many unanswered questions in the Megaman storyline, but most of everyone doesn't seem to pay attention to that do they.

Oh no, we do pay attention. However, getting fussy over the X storyline isn't something we do. I never ever cared for what happened inbetween the games, as many still prefer to consider the two "generations" as two different games.
Much like a knock-off second season of an already-great cartoon series, but now with added drama.

We played Mega Man for the Boss Battles, not the storyline. X had storyline, while the original barely had any.

If it's pleasing the fans of the original Mega Man series: It's hardly killing the series.
No, what you waited for was a NEW Mega Man game, while some of us constantly spoke of how hard the olden Mega Man games were - and we were quite satisfied with MM9 and now MM10.
It may not have satisfied the storyline-lovers of the X-series, but it's pleasing the original Mega Man fans. (You can be fans of both, but you're more likely to choose one over the other)

So it's not satisfying YOUR GROUP'S SIDE of the fandom, but it's satisfying OUR GROUP'S SIDE of the fandom. Where killer stages and ridiculously styled cartoonish robots reign, with a mad scientist with not much of a plot.

At least with Demon's Souls you're just trying to time your attacks, blocks, and dodges... your focus is on the enemy.

In Mega Man, my biggest enemy is the friggin' stage! ...I've always sucked at Mega Man, but now that I'm older it just feels like I'm starting to get worse and worse at it. Darn platforms...

No, I mean. why would there be here a flood of angry comments from Microsoft and Sony fanboys? Because this game releases 30 and 10 days later on the 360 and on the PS3 respectively than on the Wii?
