I wonder if they'll ever expand on spec ops. Seems like it would be popular. The only reason I ever bought the map packs for any Cod was Nazi Zombies, if it's just more MP ones i dont think ill go for it.

Oh, that's good I guess... Hopefully we won't have to wait a full year. By then I'll be done with MW2.

This better be coming to PC, it doesn't have to be free (would be nice) but some new maps would be awesome!

I won't hold my breath since unfortunately with many multiplatform games, the PC never gets the DLC the console versions do, at least paid DLC anyways because they assume PC gamers won't pay for DLC. The map packs on previous COD games on PC were free weren't they? They'll probably charge for them on PC this time around.

Speaking for paying for MW2 stuff.. I noticed that PC gamers have to pay $60 for the game on Steam.

What's that all about?

Boo timed exclusive map packs!
I've grown tired of MW2, its just not my cup of tea anymore, fortunately there are tons of other great games coming out to play!

As someone on Kotaku said, now we know where the money from the overpriced 360 accessories goes to, securing exclusive or timed exclusive content for the system!

The only thing that exclusive DLC on a multiplatform game does is spurn the people who happen to buy the game on the console not getting it. Just another form of alienating part of your base. Should have just made the game exclusive to that console.

I can understand how a timed exclusive would serve a purpose during the release of the multi-platform game...

But AFTER?... They're burning dollar bills as if they were Nintendo!

The 10,000's of people who think getting an AC130 from a care package and getting 30 kills equates to any amount of skill.

There are at least 2 map packs so I'm guessing the next on is in coming this Summer.
They can't release anything too close to the next COD.

WOW great some DLC content for a beta game full of glitches and bugs. WHOOP DEE DOO.. too bad the sheep will go out and by the DLC and not care that they've been cheated and robbed. Selling a half ass game full of holes. Sorry MW2 but your love from me has come and gone.

I don't understand the hate on this game, sure it's more of the same but it's still well done and they added 23 special ops missions on top of a fully fleshed out MP and an average SP campaign.

If any other game had as many people playing it as this does, tons of glitches would rise to the surface. don't hate the game, hate the players.

I agree with Space....

Hate the players that use the exploits to their advantage. Why aren't you expressing your displeasure with them for ruining your game experience? If anything..be made at the people policing the servers for not banning these idiots....

Well since I play on the PS3, I guess I won't be giving my money to Infinty Ward anytime soon. But I've got MAG for now, and BFBC2 to look forward to in about a month. Any idea how much trade in value is for MW2?
Microsoft had better be careful. Their first party line-up, while impressive, is a short list. They can't continue to pay 3rd party developers to produce all these exclusives, there's just too much potential money in PS3 now that the base has expanded so much recently. And timed exclusives by IW and others really just antagonizes other console owners into looking for alternative games to play.

They get paid for the exclusive timing. Since more DLC is purchased on the 360 for multi platform games, I'm sure their making out better then just okay.

Check fourzerotwo's posts on FB and Twitter...it's simple to mean that the 360 is going to get the DLC(map packs), first..personally, I think it's a grand idea..we know how long it takes microslop to allow any fixes, so let the 360 get the glitchy release and fix it before the PS3 !

Mark,

Could you re-read my response? Because I can't make sense of your's...

How are they making more money if:

A) The game has already been released and people have bought the game for the PS3

and 2) it's not completely exclusive to the 360

I don't see why they would get launch DLC for Dead Rising 2, and not have done the same for CoD.

Shouldn't you offer incentives BEFORE people pick which platform they'll buy it on?

They're late with this DLC.

Here's the chocolate cookie caramel question. Will we still be playing MW2 frivolously come spring? Seems like the "magic" window on DLC is getting shorter. There's so many good titles in the pipe and so little time. I haven't touched MW2 since ME2 hit myself.

Thoughts?

I agree. Time exclusives do nothing but inflict disappointment for people on other systems. I don't see why this is a plus for Microsoft that PS3 and PC owners are now disappointed.
