I know. I can't wait for my copy to arrive some time in the future. Marty McFly probably just wanted to go to February 23, 2010. But NOOOOO Doc had to send him on some insane trip.

After playing the demo I noticed that the prostitute in the hotel was the lady from the first trailer ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyubR1rknBM ) who was going to shoot her husband for cheating on her with a hooker at a sleazy hotel. At the end of the trailer they say "she's too tall for the part" but also that shes "pretty good"

Coincidence? I THINK NOT.

@ Kattleox,

Why would you post your spoiler in response to the first comment, 3 hours after the fact. So that is spoils as many peoples experience as possible?

Sorry but kinda a jerk move...

Looks like it's just the LBP dlc and the SOCOM demo for me. I'd try out the Heavy Rain demo but I don't want to ruin anymore of the story before the release. Only two more weeks!

The PlayStation Store updates on Thursday evenings. If you tried downloading it before this post went live, it wasn't available on the Store.

Is it the same demo as the one that was released through the Sony sites and you had to get the evidence right to get the code?

Does this demo contain scenes from the retail game? Or is it like the old demo that was a completely separate scene?

*minor spoilers about the demo*

The taxidermist demo is actually gonna be DLC if I recall correctly. And yeah, the demo does have scenes from the retail game. It's seperated into three parts, one is a quick tutorial, one you play as Shelby visiting a prostitute about her dead son, and the last you play as Jayden investiating a murder scene.

I've been wanting this demo for Heavy Rain since it was announced and I've been secretly keeping track of the days so I could play it.

Now, since I've been reading all of stelllar reviews it's received
, I'm not gonna play the demo. I don't want it to ruin the game for me so I'm not playing the demo. I can't wait for the 23rd.

This is the first time I have ever NOT played a demo of a game that I actually wanna play so bad. Heavy Rain, I'm proud that you're the first...

First off, I won't spoil anything. I would recommend that you do play the demo. I went from definite buy, to just renting it for the story. I mostly play in SD and some of the commands are hard to make out. Walking is awkward and took me out of the experience. I only played the demo for Indigo Prophecy, but Heavy Rain doesn't seem to be as interactive. Not saying I don't like it, just not buying it(full price anyway).

Wow that is a pretty weak update. Heavy Rain demo, that's about it. If we could get 1/4 as many new PS3 and PSP games as they do comics, we'd have something. So to sum up:

4 PS3 Bundles
1 PSP Price drop
2 PSP Bundles
0 PS3 Games
3 PSOne Classics
1 PSP Mini
0 PSP games

Boo. There should be 3 PSP games released digitally per week, minimum. There is a massive library of very popular PSP titles they can draw from, and they aren't.

Well, they released a large majority of existing PSP titles alongside the GO. So asking for about 3 a week is a bit much

I figured after releasing PSPgo they'd make a big effort to get as much of the library on PSN as possible. So glad I have a good old umd PSP.

@Joystiq Staff

Can you guys do me a favor? Can you get in touch with Double6 games and ask them if they still plan on releasing the Burn Zombie Burn in Space DLC? I've sent them inquiries and haven't gotten a response. Maybe they'll give you an honest answer either way. They announced it LAST July ( http://playstation.joystiq.com/2009/07/31/burn-zombie-burn-to-get-dlc-lights-up-home-with-new-space/ ) but it's never come to fruition and the DLC isn't available for free or for purchase. Most people have likely forgotten about it and I'm not sure if they've scrapped the DLC all together. It'd be nice to get some communication on the matter. After all, it couldn't of been because of poor sales ( http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/14/doublesix-chalks-higher-burn-zombie-burn-sales-up-to-firmware-3/2#comments ) , I just want to mentally move on but I love the game so much I want to support it. Maybe as a member of the media you can elicit a response from the small studio. Thanks in advance either way.

The way that they are handling these dynamic themes is so crappy. They started off by just using screenshots to preview it, then they used a short video, then back to the screenshots. The video preview is the ONLY way to go when it comes to dynamic themes. For some reason Sony doesn't get this.

For some reason I was convinced that Heavy Rain came out the same day as Bioshock 2 and I was so excited that I scheduled myself off work and ran down to GameStop at 9:50 only to realize that I was 2 weeks off. Oh well, ME2 and Demon's Souls are keeping me company in the meantime.

On my PSP 2000 that is, not a go.

My Heavy Rain effed up on me during the Rainy Investigation scene, it went black and scared the hell out of me. Thought it was part of the story buy i ended up having to reset the PS3, then deleted the demo in fear of it screwing my PS3 up. Watch it guys?

That happened to me too. It scared the hell out of me because it happened out of the blue and my headset volume was high. I was also levitating at one point in the crime scene investigation. There are some bugs in the demo, but simply restarting the demo will fix it. There no need to delete it, it's harmless.
