We'll take three copies of Resident Evil: Monopoly

We're not really sure we understand the impulse to stop playing one of your favorite game series long enough to build some cool tschochke devoted to it -- but we're certainly glad it exists. For without it we wouldn't have amazing items like Nicholas Endean's Resident Evil: Monopoly, the creation of which is laid out completely right here.

We'd love a copy of our very own, even if we'd hate to see the friendship-ending, nuclear-level arguments at Joystiq HQ over who gets to be the shopkeeper.

Whats up with that shark thing? Seems really out of place.

Sharks were in the first game, under the mansion in the aquarium, if not, they were definately in the RE remake on the cube. I love that game...

Double post, but i'm pretty sure they are what chomp Richard down, despite all that work trying to keep him alive from the snake bite.

This totally beats Nintendo Monopoly (and I grew up as a Nintendo fangirl).

They could always cross the genres.

This needs to be licensed and distributed in stores ASAP.

Mario's a pretty universal character. Not to say that Resident Evil isn't popular but Mario has recognition and family friendliness going for it.

For a little bit I thought this was a real Monopoly set. I didn't read thoroughly enuf. There's been so many licensed versions of Monopoly, I didn't expect it was fake. Altho I thought it was a really weird version.

I recently walked into a board game store, and there were approximately 50 variations of Monopoly. Same gameplay, different skins, same price.

If there were board game fan sites, they'd be bitching up a storm, and rightly so.
