All you really need to know about Rock of the Dead is that it's -- as the developers at Epicenter (Real Heroes: Firefighters) describe -- Typing of the Dead meets Guitar Hero. Judging by the build demonstrated to IGN, the game allows you to use a Rock Band or Guitar Hero ax to chop through the legions of the undead. Obviously, a guitar peripheral will be mandatory, though the developer is preparing contingency plan should Nintendo frown upon the requirement.
There's quite a bit of nerdy star power behind the game, with Neil Patrick Harris voicing the main character and Felicia Day featuring as the love interest. Rock of the Dead, which aims for a "cheesy/campy" feel throughout, will be budget-priced between $30 and $40 when it shambles into retail "late spring or early summer."

I have a feeling they're in for a lawsuit since this isn't being published by SEGA.

Conspiracy Entertainment is the publisher. This will get a name change or lawsuit for sure.

Hey, Butanenko is right. If you had a choice, why buy Rock Band/Guitar Hero on the Wii? The DLC platform is inferior, the controllers are inferior...

My orignal intent was to buy it on the Wii. I like my Wii way more then a 360, and I like it more then my PS3. Most PS3/360 games should be PC games, or are way better on the PC.

Who has Guitar Hero controllers for the Wii? Well, everybody in television and comics it would seem. It's the new iMac.

Not fanboys. Rational folk (i mean Aquacharger has a damn PSN id in his name), who made the choice to buy the games on Wii
The Guitar Hero experience is on par, and has been since World Tour. The only thing you really miss out of Rock Band is the ability to download whole albums

I can see... two people who could be labeled as Wii fanboys based on their comments. That's a pretty lame overload if you ask me.

I was referring to the upvoting and downvoting actually.. and overload could be a slight exaggeration ;->
But what's so rational about buying a game for a system with graphical and memory limitations? Seems to me the rational thing would be to buy it for system that doesn't have those limitations.
(If anyone cares I own all 3 systems)

Funny because I say the same thing about the 360 and PS3. So underpowered compared to my PS3. I only got a PS3 for the few games that're PS3 exclusives, or non-PC. The Wii may be underpowered graphically, but there are some really good games

My household has all 3 systems and we started out on Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. Since then also bought World Tour, Metallica, and 5. All on the Wii. The game is exactly the same, the Wii is played more in the house than the Ps3/360, the DLC is the same (since World Tour) and noone cares about the graphics of the dudes in the background since most concentration is on the notes. It just makes more sense to buy on Wii since the Wii already has the most games and is played the most (and guitar controllers are all compatible).
The way your 'rationality' goes, you might as well say "whats so rational about buying Virtual Console games since they are mostly 2-D from 15 years ago and graphically inferior to Ps3/360 games". The reason is simple actually. THEY ARE STILL GOOD GAMES. WII GAMES DONT LOOK AS GOOD BUT WHO CARES. Heck i have a high-end gaming PC running Crysis maxed out and guess what, i play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 all the time, dabble in some Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook, playing through Jedi Academy again. If you still give a shit about graphics in this day and age then you're a complete tard butaneko.

This looks totally awesome. Zombie shooter meets Guitar Hero/Rockband? How could that now be pure golden greatness? Too bad it's for Wii only, or I would be so getting this. *uses Jedi mind trick poorly* (you will release this game on PS3/Xbox, these droids are...err nvm)

For me it's because I wound up buying RB for my PS3 instead of Wii because everyone I knew at the same time just bought a PS3 and RB (or Beatles) out of no where. So to play with my friends I had to get it for my PS3. If this game to PS3 I'd definately buy. If there's another controller option, then I'd buy it for the Wii, but I'm not going to go out and buy a Guitar for my Wii for this. I love to see Wii exclusives too, what I hate is people bitching about the Wii having no games, but I see people constantly complaining about exclusives for the Wii. Which I find funny, because if those people bought them, or kept their Wii's, maybe the Wii market would be way better then it is right now. Like when I found out Muramasa might get ported to PS3 I decided to buy it for my Wii, rather then wait for it to come to PS3.

Epic troll forgot about Metroid Prime Trilogy, Monster Hunter 3, Zelda 2010, Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Muramasa, Madworld, Tiger Woods 10.....oh god i could go on, but i think the character limit for this site would prevent me listing every good game n the Wii.
