yup. Makes me laugh:
"About half-way through, you'll be the king or queen of Albion."
translates into:
About 3 hours in game you'll be king of Albion

This guy really has the kind of imagination and ideals I love but if he had the perfectionism of Kojima and and a team not scared to go in depth and finish stuff (maybe Bioware's), he would make hell of a Fable game.

I don't know about the rest of you, but when Mr. Molyneux promises something..

By god, I'm inclined to believe him!

Who's with me?!

I'm not, thats for certain.

I liked Fable 1, bought the hype for 2 and got burned, so nope, not one bit. This game is a strict rental, the time of which being around when I'd likely rent "Saw: The Game", as in, if I got extra cash, and no hobos in sight, I might rent Fable 3, Saw, or maybe Terminator Salvation.

It makes sense to me...gathering "experience" orbs and seeing how much quantifiable "life" you have left isn't exactly immersive.

I'm the only one who could possibly have come up with the idea of not being pissed off!

But the microtransactions...that's really putting me off.

The use of gamerscore in game is interesting.

I also like the save carryover from the previous (speaking of which need to complete that game).

My interest is piqued, now if only 2/3 could come to PC like the 1st. I did rent 2 for my 360 and it was enjoyable.

Nah man this type of game could only come out on a child's toy. It's not sophisticated enough for the PC. Those of us with consoles are just kiddies playing with toys ... dada baba.

In all seriousness it's not coming to the PC, so get it for 360 or get over it. Don't want to listen to a year of crying from you over it.

honestly, nerdydesi did say they he enjoyed it on the xbox, and he would just like to see it on his platform of choice.

is that grounds for an attack like tigre delivered?

give him a break, and don't take his name literally for gods sake, if we did that with everyone we would have 6 batmans, 3 captain planets and sandmonkeys posting on joystiq.

let's keep it civil, ok?

I vote nerdydesi up because I am also a PC gamer and I do not see why he was downvoted for wanting Fables 2 and 3 on PC after Fable 1 was on PC. Imagine if Mass Effect 1 came to PC but not Mass Effect 2, wouldn't you sympathize then? Being a PC gamer is not bad.

Hopefully, in this game, when your character gains 'strength' however they eventually have it earned, your character can actually develop muscles instead of just becoming horribly fat. I don't particularly want to kill creatures with my sword, gain strength, and then get a big pot belly. I just feel straight up sorry for anyone who made a female character in Fable 2.

My gf made a female character and was constantly trying to lose her in-game weight. It was pretty funny.

Either that or he is going to try to teach us all a lesson by making it damn near impossible to keep all of your in-game promises. And then, your in-game followers will get disappointed and make jokes about you on in-game blogs.

It's a cool concept in theory, but those kinds of mechanics can get really frustrating. If someone wants to look a certain way, and play another, they should be allowed to, I think.

But considering how easy it was to swap between Pure and Corrupt in Fable 2, I'm sure these weapons will be just as hot swappable.

We'll see how the no experience works. I'm afraid they're going to over simplify it the way of ME2. Don't do it Peter, don't you even try it!

What the hell? My character was 100 percent good with cut rates on all properties and 100 approval on all 5 kids and wife, why the hell are they making me so evil? I might just pick not to upload my save if they're gonna ignore my character this way

Just because you play as the son/daughter of the hero from Fable II doesn't necessarily mean that the Fable II hero is the present ruler.

I think that perhaps they got overthrown or something like that, seeing as you, the son/daughter is living as a nobody.
