You know how you always wonder for that split second what it would be like to murder the paperboy when he rides by on his bike? What? His undeveloped, childish arm can never get the damn paper on your porch! Well, according to figures from the Left 4 Dead Blog, you've killed him. A whole bunch.
Or how about the in-laws? Oh man, you murdered them cold-blooded in Left 4 Dead 2. Basically, if every person on the planet was a zombie in the game, you've killed them -- 4.26 times. That would mean you've killed them, resurrected them, killed them again -- ah, you get it.
Another interesting figure: if the average height of a zombie is six feet tall, you stacked enough undead corpses end-to-end to circle the globe 1,322 times. You know how that's in italics? That's because it's crazy. In short: you are really good at killing zombies. Hey, don't feel bad for so much genocide! That's how it goes in the zombie apocalypse.

This just goes to show the gaming population can kill off a zombie population 5x the size of human population. That's not including the the help we'll get from Special Ops and Military Organizations. In the end Human will prevail over a zombie outbreak...

Man. whenever I hear about stuff like this, or when the military does something really well, it makes me sad that even if the zombie apocalypse happens, it probably wont be that big of a deal. Sigh

C'mon Wayne, it's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

technically, some of the zombies were probably dead before they became zombies, so we probably killed past populations as well as current ones.

that doesnt make sense. It's not like zombies dig up graves and turn years dead people into new zombies. In L4D2 it's not even a magical voodoo zombie thing, it's some kind of virus, and a virus can't infect a dead person

The virus kills the host before they turn into a zombie, so YES, the virus affects dead people. Ever watch any zombie movie? The dead come back to life and many crawl out of their graves. No, Zombies don't dig up the dead corpses, but since they are dead, they already passed step 1 of the process.
