The problem with that statment stra8laced510, is that the User really dont have that much input in baseball games. for examples
Pitching- Just a mini game that has nothing to do with baseball( we all loved it though)
Batting- ur job is to aim with the left stick and press X and the game does the rest. I wish you can control the bunting instead of pressing circle
Feilding- just move player and press a base button. what trips me out about baseball games over the yrs is how they make u commit errors when the user has no impact. i mean why all of sudden my player drops a routine fly ball or my short stop throws over the 1st baseman head?
Base Running- Lets face it, you cant evolve this. However i wish Sony will use EA's base running system.
anyway just like NBA 2K10 and MLB 09, i'm buying it used or wait for a sale because sure the gameplay formula is still good(09 was boring with AI though) $60 for the same game since 07 a PS2 game. speaking of PS2, gameplay wise, PSP/PS2 version will play like PS3 version.
This game would of been a day 1 buy if they had added
1. Team Play- 7 players offline 9 vs 9 online
2. PSeye- why hasn't the face mapping made it to the PS3 version?
3. Mini Games- Sure HR derby is back but aint nothing. EA's pitching mini game was addictive.

I usually don't buy 'SportsGameXX' until 'SportsGameXX'+1 comes out.
For this I may make an exception. It looks and sounds spectacular.
Only thing that I think could make this better is veteran announcers. It would be great to hear the dynamic duo of Marty Brennaman and Joe Nuxhall again.

I love this game series and i can't wait until i get paid on the 4th to go buy it The only thing i wish the makers of this series would do is put some kind of off the field content in it. for example: Big name endorsements, everyone knows that pros get endorsed to play with certain brands and what not. I think that would be a cool feature.
