Does anyone know how good the Fable 2 co-op is? I'm thinking about getting it now that it's a Platinum Hit or Greatest Hits or w/e..

The coop is absolutely abysmal, worthless. The singleplayer more than makes up for it, definitely worth it. It was joystiqs goty 08 for a reason

Oh, I agree. The single player is fabulous, I bought it first day it came out, multiplayer can be fun, even if your second player doesn't know much about games, its one button for one thing, one button for melee, another for range weapons, and another for magic. Its great gaming with a person you care about, and everyone can have fun.

I'm going to be playing some S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, now that it's available on Steam. Along with some TF2 here and there.

Snapped up that WaW map pack sale, so once they're done I'll be playing quite a bit. Also the Heavy Rain demo, and of course, Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

An underrated gem, to be sure.

Why is there Cheese in a 50 Cent game? Is that the gangster term for money, or are you talking about the Swedish version?

I'm single so I'll be sticking to the single player campaigns. I'm trying to wrap up .Hack GU 3. On top of that, I'm still working through Skies of Arcadia Legends, Final Fantasy I, and Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. Laugh all you want to, but I'm also play Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the Xbox. I love that game to death and it has one of the best melee combat engines of any game to date.

I constantly beat my wife. She never listens to my advice and is all around horrible! She makes bad decisions and never lets me have my fun.
"Franky!" she wails, "I don't have to put up with this no longer!"
and I say,
"Its your fault you keep getting beaten!" I say,
and she threatens to call the police, faking to pack her bags and such.
"Even they can't help you! Can't you understand I am having fun, beating you in such a manner, you wouldn't know the meaning of fun if it slapped you on the ass and called you Lisa!"
But alas, she always returns, and I beat her. I admit it is cheap of me, to play as Sonic, using his final smash repeatedly, while she plays Peach and uses her final smash, but she always forgets the button to pick up the damn fruit! Maybe playing the Subspace Embassy will get our minds out of the gutter, hell after that, maybe I'll let her beat me. And I can imagine the sex afterwards. Six inch heels, fishnet stockings, leather straps, and hell, maybe she will dress up too. [/scrubs]

Oh, yeah I apologize about that. I have this tendency to reply to everything directed at me or otherwise. I remember the day it started, I was so happy because for christmas I got Yoshi's Story on the Nintendo 64, it was a cold winters day, and I ran across the street to show my friend, and on the way I slipped and fell on the road, the cartridge slipped out of my hands and clattered on the ground, and I could hear it slide away as I drifted into a "This hurts bad, I wanna lay here forever I am too lazy to get up" phase, mind you it was foggy, very foggy. Like Silent Hill foggy. So I got up, started feeling on the ground, desperately looking for the cartridge while the concussion crazed my vision, alas there it was! The game, I saw it on the ground, by the gutter, with my double vision it took me many times to pick it up correctly, when I did I squealed with glee, but then looking at the games wet cover paper, I saw blood. It was on my mittens too. Now, as a five year old child, I was pretty scared to put it lightly, so I got up franticly, almost slipping again, looking around, I had lost my sense of direction!
Oh wait, wrong story. Anyway, yeah sorry, I'll bore you another day with my yarns.

Haha, no problem. It's more fun this way. And you know, depending on the type of humor you are going for, you wouldn't be a half-bad stand up comic, dood. The whole story-telling thing tends to work well.

Just don't set your hopes anywhere nearly as high as the PS3 version, or you will be very disappointed. Also keep in mind you can't put stickers on your characters, and decorations don't even exist.

I see you have GameFly as well, I just got Dragon Age Origins yesterday, a blast. I tend not to rent newer games, since I usually never get them or they send me another game instead trying to "help" me. How long does it take for you to get a game? It takes about a week to send back and forth for me.

yeah that's pretty normal. I live in the center of NY state and the nearest shipping center is pittsburgh. Even with the fast return it usually takes them at best 2 or 3 days to say they've received it, and then another 4 or much more depending on weekends. If you want to get new games, the key is to reserve them early. I've had bioshock 2 in my queue since it was available for such, also being a long time subscriber can supposedly get you new games faster, which suck but hey. The only other thing ive found that works, for new games or any, is to just write down all the ones you dont in your queue, but take all of them out except for the ones that you absolutely want the most. That way they'll have no choice but to send that to you. It's risky, i did it once and it took them 3 weeks to send me anything, but I got dark void the day it came out at least

Yeah, I get mine from Pittsburgh as well, Chicago is where I am at. I guess I will do that for AvP instead of buying it, the GameStop employee constantly harasses me telling me to keep the reserve because all her friends want it, and I shouldn't listen to the reviews. I know she is just saying that because they bought so many copies, and people will cancel their reserves because of the review from GI (5.75, headline: Two species battle for the bargain bin) and they won't be able to make a profit, now I can preorder BF:BC2. Ho-Hum, GI gave that a 9.5.
