If Sam keeps murdering people in broad daylight, a jury might easily...

...convict him.

I want to say I'm dying to play this but I'm not sure still. I wish there was a demo before hand but that's doubtful. Anyhow only thing making me curious really is the beta for Ghost Recon's MP.

It's not too kinky... A little role playing. Last night I was Sonic and she was Tails. We curl up into balls on the bed and try to spin as fast as we can.

The only aspect I can see this game falling down on is the music. Chaos Theory had one of the best scores I've ever heard, and also totally interactive with layering based on your actions. Next to that, Double Agent's forgettable music was a complete let down.

Apparently CT composer Amon Tobin has been brought on board to "contribute music for the climactic scenes" in Conviction... hopefully this doesn't just mean the end credits, and hopefully his influence will filter through the rest of the score. If not, I can't see the game having the same level of tension as CT.

I know people have mixed opinions about spies vs merc's multiplayer, but I just now found out they are taking it out, (I know, I know.... I've been under a rock for quite some time now, a result of great single player games piling up that I've not yet finished, or in some cases, even played) and I'm genuinely depressed about it.

Ghost Recon (XBOX) and a Wolfenstein (PC) game were my real introductions to online gaming, but Splinter Cell:PT changed my world. At the time, it was the sole reason I had LIVE, and I mean that literally (which makes me do some introspection now that I think about it, as I've always been staunchly against MMORPG's because of the monthly fee's associated with it...err, i mean 'them').

I know that Double Agent hit & missed with their formula modifying, but I personally really enjoyed it when it wasn't regurgitating on it's technical problems.

I enjoy coop (though I have a hard time finding other people to play with me, I must have and abrasive personality or something) and I know they are still going to have an 'adversial spy v spy mp' (surely better than the scavenger hunt race crap they had in CT), but to outright do away with it? Just... wow.

I'm not the type to make snap judgements on a game that hasn't been released, but (and I admittedly haven't followed all announcements as voraciously as I could have, and therfore don't know too awful much about it) this has dropped several leagues on my own personal hype meter.

When there is a game I'm excited about, its usually a day one purchase with at least a month of anticipation driving me bat-shit crazy. Splinter Cell's coop had glimpses of greatness before coop was 'the in-thing', (I personally liked how if you spoke too loud to your partner, NPC's would hear you and be alerted; it was inconveniently frustrating at times, but really added to the immersion imo) and with all the work they are putting into it this time around, I bet it will be pretty awesome.

Nonetheless, this game has slipped from day one status, at least for me.

I'm not the type

Why I said, "I'm not the type.." at the end there I don't know. Replace that with "Maybe"
