X10: Welcome back to Albion, Fable 3 screens emerge
31
Microsoft has just sent off a handful of screens for the upcoming Lionhead adventure, Fable III. Featured in the images is a gruff-looking anti-hero, who has clearly lost more than a few followers from a slew of evil decisions. The pirate isn't all bad, though; one image shows the gun-toting maniac playing with his son ... unless, of course, kidnapping is a brand new Fable III feature.

Hopefully they fix it, the game ran great at the beginning, but by the end of the game the entire game was glitchy which is very odd. The more you progressed the less everything seemed to work. Was that just me? The FPS slowed down, the buttons were less responsive, the menus took LOOOOONGER which were already slow, the menus also locked up a lot. The HUD locked up like every second.
The game was fun, I just never could go back to get the rest of the achievements, my gamesave was just too eh.

Wow, looks incredible. I just hope your hero doesn't look ugly no matter what you do like the last one. If these screens are any indication, at least at one point you wont be

yeah, going to first-person view to look at the character models in Fable 2 almost made me go blind.

i didnt mind the other characters at all, it was just even with the whole "your actions affect your appearance, even combat preference" always resulted in an ugly character. Whether it was a massively chind muscleman who looks more fat than muscly, or a bright blue glowing twig, they always looked horrible. The Fable 1 guy was so much better, his muscular proportions when maxed might have been unrealistic, but it was a lot easier to look at then Fable 2's nightmare of a maxed Physique, toughness and brutal techniques character

I ate vegetables, I ate pies, vegetables to negate the pies, I maxed out skill, strength and will, I bought height and weight potions, I tried every different kind of hair, and I still had one ugly mother of a player character

That first shot looks a lot like something from Demon's Souls to me. Which is neither good or bad, just a resemblance.
I've been meh on the first two games. Pleased that we were able to play a woman in II, but my god, no matter what happened, she looked like a hulking she-beast. Kind of hoping that's adjusted a little in this one.
