I have loved all the DOA games, both fighting and Volleyball :).
This seems like a weird decision.
Assuming I wanted to buy a game for team ninja sweet graphics and the curvy floppy chicks that japanese devs think we americans drop cash for, Why would I want to play it on my pocket sized screen rather than my 52 inch samsung LED series 7 in full HD?
