Nothing says 'BioShock' like stock car racing

We get so jealous of the professional oval-navigators in the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing -- their rides get all the sweet paint jobs. What, you think our Toyota Matrix wouldn't look sweet decked out in Home Depot stickers, with a large, arbitrary number plastered on our driver's side door? That's automotive bigotry.

Speaking of, GameStop-sponsored NASCAR racer Joey Logano's latest whip was revealed during yesterday's Sprint Cup practice races: The Big Daddy-branded car seen above. That's actually a pretty great strategy -- can you imagine being one of the other drivers on the track, and seeing a massive drillmonster approaching from behind?

I'm sorry. I looked for the drillmonster but I just "can't unsee it."

Were I an opposing driver, my thoughts would be less "Oh my god, massive drillmonster" and more "Teehee, he's so cute!" But maybe that still gives Logano an advantage.

Why do so many people hate gamestop? I'm very good friends with the store manager there. I'm always getting pre-order information, if I don't pre-order he'll just give me the item for free. When I go in there I'm always welcomed, helped and informed. I don't get why people hate on gamestop so much over the years.

I don't ever buy used games because I like to support the developers, but believing in a crazy "GameStop withholding games" conspiracy (otherwise known as the "Not making money on stuff they could be making money on" theory) is pretty batsh*t insane.

This car will also sport God of War 3 once the release comes closer. I'm expecting it to ram all the other cars out of the race.

I would like to see Kratos as the driver...

What kind of track do you want? Square? That is madness.

Hell, they don't even do that right. I pre-ordered DMC4 and they didn't have it. Then the next week they got the game in finally and they didn't have the art book that was supposed to come with the pre-order. The guy literally said "Well... We have an Assassin's Creed art book you can have"

Also, every time I go up to Gamestop I can't even buy a game without being asked like 5 times if I want to pre-order another or subscribe to Gameinformer.

I don't care if it says GameStop on it. It says BIOSHOCK 2, which makes one of the most epic cars I've ever seen.

My buddy just received a used game from gamestop.com he asked me if he should buy it used to save some cash, and I said yeah its not like they would tell you a bad disc.

He got it 3 days later covered in crap, and when he wiped it clear there were a bunch of scratches in the disc. He took it to a store were they swapped it out for free, and the employee just put it back in the drawer to sell again.

You have no idea how much I want the game. The first one was marvelous.

I don't know, that Heavy Rain car is catching up...

Had this been Speed Racer, the car would totally have had a big-ass drill on the front.

I don't understand how with DRM now, PC games basically cannot be rented, borrowed nor sold. And yet this used market is strong for console games and the fat cats don't utter a word. But I guess now with DLC which comes with new copies of games, they want to get rid of that option for console games as well. I do dislike pre-order bonuses.

Never? They've only had road courses (none ovals) for years in the Sprint Cup (Sonoma and Watkins Glen). But I guess it is easier to play the turn left only joke huh.

Also McElroy couldn't even be bothered to read his own link/source. See that logo at the top of the windshield? Gamestop sponsors the 20 car in the _Nationwide_ Series. Home Depot still sponsors the 20 in the Sprint Cup Series.

They do have tracks that aren't oval...lots actually. Indy isn't oval. Also...thats not a sprint cup car, its a nationwide one!

I bet he got it used for $5 less at Gamestop.

I have a feeling the Mass Effect 2 car will probably beat it.

Not as bad as some cars. The Half-Life 2 Episode 3 car is half-disassembled in the garage and the Duke Nukem driver never showed up; and don't even get me started on what happened with the Gizmondo car.

Doing left turn only or going in circle is what Americans call professional racing.

I'd be more afraid to see the Toyota logo racing up behind me.

Car Racing is my favorite sport,its my passion.i think that Toyota's car is best for that kind of race.this has all qualities of a winning car.Best of Luck Toyota.
