RE5 Gold Edition for 360 should have all the DLC on the disc- not a stupid code. At least do what Bethesda did with Fallout 3 GOTY and include a separate disc. Damn Capcom- just because of that, I'm not buying it.

Just so you know the game is being released for $50 with expanded content. It will also be available as a separate DLC for those who already own RE5. So go on and buy it.

I bought Just Dance for my wife and she thinks it's fun. Is it shallow? Sure. Hate-worthy? I don't think so.

Everything is hate worthy when you hate it enough WRE. Or at least when it almot outsells ME2 at its debut!

2 hours isn't really much time to get into a game like Bioshock. Though your opinion is respected.

agreed, the first 2 hours went a little slow for me, but once i got in deeper, it was much more enjoyable.

big sister killing on hard is most definitely a fun thing to do.

I aodre both games (Ive also gotten the Platinum trophy on both games). I agree that 2 hours isnt really a good time to see if your in to it. You should have given Bioshock 2 a better chance, it really is a damn good and fun game. The online is absolutly bloody fantastic as well, except for one or 2 cheap ass, overpowered weapons (Nailgun and Granade Launcher im looking at you!).

Honestly, I was actually pissed that I RENTED Bioshock 2 after 2 hours and almost put it back in its Gamefly sleeve. then I gave it another shot and said to myself "yeah, okay, this is badass."

A lot of times an FPS is "blow shit up, shoot shit up, and cuss all the while." I made sure to remember that Bioshock is a different animal before I sent it back and I'm happier for doing so.

I'm glad to hear this. I haven't actually bought BioShock 2 yet, but the first game is one of my all time favorites and whether or not the sequel lives up to it, it's nice to see such a unique fps succeed.

I'm surprised Bioshock 2 beat Mass Effect 2 for top spot, Bioshock 1 was way overrated.

bioshock 2 you mean?

correct yourself quickly, for if we think you mean 1, a downvote storm is incoming.

i agree, that bioshock 2 was a little overhyped, or maybe i was expecting the same experience, but im around 4 hours into it now and it's getting steadily better than it was when i popped it in.

I completed Bioshock 2 on PC last night, having beaten Mass Effect 2 on Xbox 360 last week. I can safely say that Mass Effect 2 is by far the better experience, but both were great games... stories you actually care about mapped to fun gaming experiences.

Bioshock 1 was way over hyped, I bought it cause I kept hearing how "great" it was, that was the last game I let suck me in with hype. The game play was so so and the plot was haggis boiled in piss.
Mass Effect had great game play and a great story and ME2 was even better, I ended up trading in Bioshock for credit at EB games (along with modern war crap 1).

I disagree that it was over hyped or as bad as you say. While you did not care for it - the masses did. I thought it was a great game, with a sweet story and felt just a tad like System Shock 2 (which is what so many of us hoped to see) and so it brought back some fond gaming memories.

I think you are being far too harsh on it.

Bioshock 1 definitely has the best setting AND story of all of the current gen games I've played and I've played alot.

Bioshock 2 online can be fun at times. It is however, plagued with lag. It has some decent creativity in it but to be honest, this is a rent for me.

The game is very fun. I haven't played the first one, so this is like a brand new experience for me. Although I get a bit nausea after playing it for an hour, I still manage to play it for around an hour each time. The music is very special with the feeling of the 60s, and the creepy environment/sound effects, and the hacking technique all immerse me in the game so much that I almost forget about my nausea :P

Tried out the multiplayer for the first time last night. My first match went fine, but I went from lobby to lobby for about 30 minutes (no exaggeration) before I got into my second. Game froze while loading my fourth match, and I called it a night. Never got to play any mode other than Survival of the Fittest; all other gametypes left me watching people join and leave the lobby before we had enough players to start.

I enjoyed the small amount I played, but will be waiting for a patch to really dive into it.

Oh, I'm not saying the multiplayer isn't fun. It was a lot better than I was expecting, and I'm definitely going to put a bit of time into it. At least enough to rank up to 40 and get that achievement. I usually don't play competitive shooters because I really, truly suck horrendously at them, but I had fun despite my 1:1 k/d ration. When it's confirmed that the MP is more stable, I'll jump back into it. For now, I have a too many awesome games in my backlog to spend my rather limited gaming time waiting in lobbies for half an hour.

Also, the singleplayer is amazing enough for me to forget about the multiplayer issues. I've put in 8 or 9 hours on hard with no vitachambers, and I've only just left Pauper's Drop.

I'm glad Bioshock 2 did well. There's no need to wish a good game to do poorly in sales. It's February, let's give these big games a chance to do well so next year there will be other games released like this throughout the year.

I'm glad it sold well as i'm looking forward to playing it but...beating Mass Effect 2? Really?

Now I know why sequels are pumped out more than new IP. Oh wait, ME2 is a sequel too. Well psht, you know what I mean.

oh come on. Both games were fkin shit. Look past the theme and the story. You call THAT a good FPS game? jebus H corbett what low standards you all have.

(awaiting the fade to white by the downvoters who wouldn't know crap gameplay if it was packaged up in a 'pretty theme', masked by an overblown story, sold to them as the 'Bioshock' series; and came up and bit them on the ass)
