Most publishers make dramatic trailers for their games, with carefully chosen game footage augmented by thrilling cinematics. Namco Bandai did not do that for the iPhoneNoby Noby Boy game. Instead, creator Keita Takahashi put on a puppet show in a conference room.
Using adorable handmade puppets, Takahashi provided the clearest look yet at the mobile version, including the stretchable Boy, several minigames and a camera app in which ... some cartoon guy hangs onto your photo.
We like this approach to trailers. "iPhone, iPhone, iPod Touch!" See the rest of the videos at Famitsu.
It makes Wii Play look like the PS2's greatest hits on one disk.
If you think these kinds of apps makes the iPhone a mobile gaming device you'd shit yourself if you picked up a PSP or DS. Like clean up on isle 7 shit yourself
there was another one somewhere along the lines saying pretty much the same thing. 'cept in that one i swore he said he never did them. *shrugs* could be my old age too, ya never know
I loved it! And I'm relieved that my fellow joystiqers liked it too. I worry that anything a little too strange and good will upset them *ahemsexualityinbayonetta*
