But you know, if all those storylines can maintain the kind of epic narration featured in this new trailer, N3II is guaranteed to be a multi-million seller. Wouldn't you agree?

pretty much a dynasty warriors clone with a few very small differences including art direction/setting. To be honest I was pretty disappointed with N3 because it was a pretty generic game coming from a company that puts out stuff like rez, e4 and Lumines.

I suppose I'll hit up the local Hollywood Video that's closing and try to pick up a copy for cheap.

As far as button-mashers go it's not terrible, but it's also not an unforgettable experience. It's a slight breath of fresh air from the Koei games.

Yeah, because we'd rather have this instead of--wait, what does Konami make? DDR and Castlevania? I think we've had enough of those, too.
When did Konami become so irrelevant?

I hesitate to call anything Metal Gear a "game"

That would imply that you could *interact* with--and thus influence--the story.

That's why they sell like hotcakes.
I'm sure there'll be a snappy reply about how popular doesn't mean "good," though.

Well, I didn't think it was that bad. I mean, the fact their were no checkpoints was irritating and I could only take one level at a time without getting sick of the sight of my useless soldiers, but the graphics were truly beautiful and if they had just put in a checkpoint system and a bit of spice, it would have been perfect for any hack and slash fans.
