Why are white ppl playing the characters of Asians? Oh wait right cause they got a white woman to play Chun Li in that movie that does not exists... at least in my memory!!!

They wont stop when these things are so cheap, this movie probably costed less than an episode of 30 Rock.

1. Good choice on Heihachi, he's not big, but his face and anger look perfect.
2. Kazuya looks cool, but why did he need the goatee? And why is he so damn small?
3. Jin, meh, best they could do I guess.
4. Christie? WTF? She's supposed to be Brazilian. And, isn't Xiaoyu his love interest?
5. Nina's costume. Shit. Should have used one of the alternates. Or better material.
6. Good job with Eddy Gordo.
7. Good job with Raven.
8. But why do the only 2 black dudes have to take each other out?
9. Good job with Bryan.
10. Yoshimitsu, okay. But just because he has a sword doesn't mean Kaz has axes.
11. Where the hell is Paul?

Actually I believe she is 1/4 Chinese as per so that does not make her Asian at all. That is like me claiming to be a full blown Jersey Shore Guido for being 1/4 Italian. Not saying she is claiming to be Asian, just saying. Second, regardless of their respective Heritage they do not look the part. Plus I am very sure they could have hired lesser knowns who look more the part to play these characters. Not that these ppl are not lesser knowns already...

yes, in the film. i meant that the story content of the movie shouldn't be compromised by the colorful costumes or the fighting

I'm seeing a lot of hate being directed towards the actor who plays Jin (Jon Foo). Regardless of whether or not he's good for this role, he's been doing the stunt/martial arts thing for a really long time and for me at least it's nice to see him get a lead role (he's paid his dues in countless movies as that guy who gets smacked so hard he spins around a lot before he falls). I can't speak for his acting because I don't think I've ever seen him act, but I can say that he's an amazing athletic talent.

In the past decade or so we've seen a lot of actors and celebrities get training for a few months and try to fake it as action stars, so it's nice to see a real action talent try to fake it as an actor every once in a while. I don't have hopes for this as a good movie overall, but if an action flick has good action, then imho, it's a good action flick. You should check out Jon Foo's stunt reel:

I'm staying away from this movie till the day those fight scenes actually contain combos other than the usual fights. (how about a 4 hit DEWGF for kazuya for a start?)
