Diablo 3's female Barbarian knows the riddle of steel

Because Diablo III won't be released until 2014, we've got plenty of time to check out the game's various classes. The latest to get the spotlight treatment is the female Barbarian. It's kind of funny because she looks like one of the most notable male barbarians ever: Conan. Just, uh, don't tell her we said that she looks like a dude!

If you're playing catch-up, the official character page on Blizzard's site has a brief bio on the class and a look at some of its special moves.

you guys think you're being sarcastic with that release date (and a lot of idiots out there honestly believe it's coming next year) but that date is more accurate than you think.

I have a lot more faith in Blizzard now with release dates. They already confirmed 2010 release for Starcraft 2, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to see Diablo 3 next year.

I'm not complaining; Valve does the same thing with their products. I'd say the same thing if there was a HL2:EP3 Article (or HL3) but that doesn't mean I hate Valve or their products. They just have longer development cycles than most companies. Heck, even Bethesda did it with one of my favorite games- Fallout 3.

I think its the fact that Blizzard is filthy rich and wont need another cash cow for awhile. Diablo 3 gets released when their WoW revenue starts to slow down a bit, whether thats next year or in 5 years.

Thats my 2 cents anywayss.

I don't hate WoW, in fact i spent good years into that game. I was mainly pulling things out of thin air, however if you look there's already another expansion on it's way. It's clear that Blizzard treasures WoW more out of all its games.

WoW is their cash cow. It basically lets Blizzard do whatever they want monetarily because its a such a consistent influx of ridiculous amounts of money. Of course they're going to baby it.

Honestly I dont care anymore. By the time Diablo III comes out there will be so much better games on the market. As much as I admire Blizzard for taking their time with their games to make them right, if no one gets to play them in the generation they were meant for then it's pointless. It seriously looks finished now so what's the problem?

We've seen like 3, maybe 4 different environments. They aren't finished at all, tho i am 100% confident in a 2011 release. This year is all about Starcraft 2 and the new Wow Expansion.

Diablo III could be Diablo II with an additional act and it would be GOTY 20__. Starcraft/Warcraft define the RTS genre, WoW defines MMORPG, and Diablo defines point & click RPGs. There won't be a better game on the market until Blizzard makes it
