The sequel features the same kind of Phantom Hourglass-esque, stylus-controlled action, with the option to switch to buttons. This time, a two-player co-op mode is included, so Goku and a non-Goku friend can beat up the Red Ribbon Army over local wireless. The Japanese release also includes an emulated version of what we know as the NES's Dragon Power -- there's currently no word if that awful game will be a bonus in the American version.

Damn.
Never played the first one. Always thought that one looked good too. But this one looks so well made too. I don't even like the DB saga (more of a fan of the legendary Z sagas) but I gotta admit the DB saga is the only saga that allows for a more flexible gameplay style...and co-op...lol

I have no idea why but the name "Dragon Ball" didn't instantly hit me so I thought this was some crazy version of "Monkey Ball". Then I remembered the series that I used to be obsessed with in 5th grade.

Is it still going to have Shenron no Nazo as an in game bonus, or will they swap it out for Dragon Power?

yeah, except that the Dragonball series has been around for almost 30 years and it's creator is the grandfather of all JRPG art styles...

I wasn't implying they copied, just that it's funny. I know Dragon Ball has been here since the 80's, but come on, Origins?
