Is the "Facehugger" figurine that came bundled with your Hunter Edition of Aliens vs. Predator missing its tail appendage? That's an important component for the Facehugger's chest-impregnating ritual, you know. How else is the little guy supposed to keep his balance whilst tenderly inserting its glistening ovipositor into your larynx and filling your chest cavity with its ripe brood-seed?
Fortunately, Sega's replacing the broken 'huggers -- just fill out this form using the map pack download code that came with the Hunter Edition, and wait for your new, skittering friend to arrive. We highly suggest picking up extra flamethrower fuel during the interim.

This is a prime example of Sheep. It is an amazing Game. Personally id give it 9/10. ALL of the reviewers hates can be fixed in the options menu. They just cant be bothered. But who am i kidding? Follow your reviewers, little sheep. Baaaaa

Although I haven't played Aliens vs. Predator yet (and was admittedly quite underwhelmed by the demo), I'm really starting to question some professional reviewers' scores for games lately. I've played some recent games where some of the "facts" (not opinions) are way off. For example, one of the reviewers of Dante's Inferno griped that the save points in the game are few and far between. When in reality, they're all over the place (maybe too frequent). It just seems strange. It's almost as if some reviewers are playing through a level or two and jumping to conclusions about entire games.

That isnt true so it doesnt need an option. Ill admit the AI isnt ground breaking but even so, on normal at least, the marines did work together to take me down. Maybe the reviewer played on easy?

I'd buy that. I think a lot of reviewers blow thru a game on easy/normal to meet the deadline for the article. I have yet to play it. But that's pretty much a big complaint by the GameInformer reviewer in this month's mag. He gave it a 5 out of 10 I think.
But I agree with a post above.. The MP demo was really boring.

They chose the worst map and worst mode for the multiplayer demo. Im having so much fun on Survivor right now, they should have included that. The Marine campaign is the best, then the Predator. The Alien campaign is great but its really quite short.
The controls are fluid if you turn on Auto Transition as the alien. On all the reviews that complained about Alien controls not being fluid, I wanted to shout through the reviews that "you could turn on autotransition you arsehole!". None of them enabled that option and that fixes the problem. It also seemed to me that a lot of rveiewers were picking on problems that wernt there.
No iron-sights = If they gave you iron sights you'd complain its useless because the aliens move waaay too fast.
Graphics are bland = Simply put. The graphics are not amazing but they ARE next gen for gods sake! If MGS4 had slightly worse graphics would that make it a bad game!? The graphics are GOOD not great, but GOOD.
Poor Level Design = Ok, thsi pissed me off. The level design is EXACTLY like the movies! Exactly! They complain about the predator not being able to jump high, HE JUMPS EXACTLY LIKE IN THE MOVIES!

Is this a failed attempt at humor or are you just that stupid?
It's a patch and it's the Weyland Yutani logo. You know, the company from the Aliens movies (and later AvP movies) that funds the colonies that get attacked and the deep space missions to save and salvage what's left of them.

I see what you did thar. If you are serious, though, Rudy is obviously a fan of the Alien films when you think about how much he samples them.
If you look at them closely, you can see a little difference. The parts in the :wumpscut: logo that are triangles framing the W are actually the parts in the original that make up the Y.
If you know all of this and are just trolling, forgive me. ^_^_^_^_^

Damn it, first I find out best buy wont be shipping mine because it's on backorder despite preordering it! Now i find out when I get it in 3 weeks, when the multiplayer community will probably be nonexistent, it might be broken!
Posted: Feb 18th 2010 5:43PM The Pirate said
There are loads of full games now and it isnt broken. It uses a Lobby System unlike the demo.

I never worried about that, never had any problems during the demo. I'm just scared that by the time I get it the community'll be gone. Sure there's plenty on right now, but it's only been out two days! What about 3 weeks? Guess I can kiss those achievements goodbye

It actually isnt even out in the UK. So everyone on now are americans! When the UK join, about 80% more people will come on. For a bit of comparison. AvP2 is still amazingly active (You can always find a full game of survivor) and its been out for more than a decade.
