Don't buy Castlevania Europeans it's just not worth the money.

Here is my review:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_rQwXrgVHM

Problems with game:

No saving.
Nothing really unique about this game
The game is sort of short and has NO extra content
Looks like SHIT (Super Castlevania IV looks better)
No twirly whip

I am not a fan of Mega Man games but I can respect the fact they MM9 had DLC extra modes, and extra features.

This is bear bones game that isn't worthy of the high price tag.

If you want a good Castlevania game get IV if you don't have it already, at least that thing has password save/save state feature.

I just watched your review and I just want let people know that your opinion shouldn't hold a lot of weight in their decision of whether to buy this or not. First of all, you said that there's no saving, including the "Wii menu" save, but I noticed that you already commented on youtube a month ago that you can hold right on the d-pad for a few seconds to jump to any level you've already beaten. Anyone with internet access can figure this out easily, just like I did while I was playing the game, so not having a save feature doesn't really hurt the game.

And you kept saying how straight-forward the game is, because all you do is go left and right. It's a sidescroller so what do you expect. And the main appeal of the game for me was the keys you can find that open alternate pathways and treasure rooms. Some alternate paths even let you skip sub-bosses so straightforward is an incorrect way to describe this game.

You also weren't sure how many whip upgrades there were and you said you thought the game was 3 hours long, which makes me think that not only did you not even beat it prior to your review, but you didn't even spend that much time with it.

I do agree the Castlevania IV is a better game and $2 cheaper but this was a solid old-school Castlevania game. So for anyone that's a Castlevania fan or old-school gamer, it's worth the $10.
