Imagine calling Target, and ask "Hi, do you guys have any copies of Aaaaaa!!!- Reckless Disregard for Gravity. That would be a fascinating phone call.

I once had two Wal-Mart employees tell me that hey had "never heard of" Chrono Trigger (when I was looking for the DS version). Nowadays if I'm in a store that doesn't specifically deal in video games, I try to avoid the clerks.

It's very nice to see someone finally taking Android seriously.

However, also, this article is in the PlayStation section, yet they're only looking at Wii and 360 console development. I'll keep my fingers crossed for PSN. I have Aaaaa! on Steam and it is quite fun.

From what I've read it's pretty hard to develop for the PS3 as an indie dev. (Not talking about the cell) Sony is really picky about what projects they'll greenlight for the PSN, and even then the dev kit is apparently insanely expensive, and Sony doesn't do a lot of hand-holding unless you're a second party.

Still, hopefully Dejobaan can tear through those roadblocks. I think their style of game design would fit in nicely with some of the other niche games on the PSN.

Sorry but what the hell!? Q Games is an Indie developer and they said Sony gave them craploads of support, same with DoubleSix and Housemarque. Sony supports Indie Devs. Otherwise why would we have games like Noby Noby Boy

Right, but Q-Games is a rare example of a company Sony chose for their platform and ran with. Sony is still very picky about which games they will be accommodating towards and which ones they will outright deny. There are plenty of other developers (like the guy who made Braid) who didn't have such an easy time getting their game on the PSN.

He had a hard time getting it onto PSN becuase of Microsofts exclusevity deal. Its Microsoft that doesnt allow weird and wonderful games on their console. They turned away flOwer, Noby Noby Boy and loads of others.

I'm really looking forward to Dejobaan's next title. Aaaa! was great. It's fantastic that they're branching out into other platforms so that more people can enjoy their awesome games.

These overly-long titles were funny at first, but that's just a bit annoying.
