What's with the angry black man staring angrily in the backround?

"Angry black man"? Nice stereotype there buddy. He doesn't look angry to me by any means. Americans love them some "angry black man" stereotype. Interesting to see these kind of people (bigots, racists, etc) and how quickly their weak mind has to go to preconceived thoughts and cannot generate their own. And he got some love with the upvoting. Very revealing how many brainwashed racists are out there. Post-racial era after Obama. LMAO Get real and realize their are people with actual experience of being oppressed and foisted upon with all this racial hatred.

OK, now commence on my downvoting you darling in the closet Klansmen.

Seriously, Season 2 sucked because it was a jumble of stuff being crammed into too few episodes from the writer's strike, but it's been getting progressively better ever since. This last season was amazing, but I guess it's cool to hop on the bandwagon of, "Yeah, I quit watching Show X after season X. It sucks now even though I haven't seen it since then."

Season 2's *primary* problem originated with the writer's strike. Cutting out an entire volume from the show was just a moronic decision, as was rewriting the end to volume 2. But in addition to that, from the start there were problems with both Hiro's and Sylar's plotline, two of the most central characters to the show.

I disagree though that it got progressively better from there. Volume three started off much better than volume 2- however, when NBC began pushing for higher-ratings material, and eventually fired some of the main writers, it went downhill. I haven't seen Volume 4, or any part of season 4, though from what I hear Volume 4 continued to be terrible, but with this last season they've finally begun to redeem themselves.

Ultimately, Volume 1 was, in my opinion, both of the greatest seasons of television ever produced, and one of the greatest stories ever told using television as a medium. If the writers can actually make a final season worthy of rivaling season 1, then the characters definitely deserve it.

omega, I didn't jump on a bandwagon. I just decided that the show was terrible when it finally ended with them the company people decided to keep sylar alive in the form of nathan patrelli. Peter also went along with this decision despite sylar killing his brother, very gruesomely I might add. the entire season was terrible leading up to that, but that was the final nail in the coffin. it became a chore to watch.

I used to watch every single episode commentary for Heroes on nbc.com, and honestly, Greg Grunberg always appeared to just be a fantastic guy. This is just further proof of that.

All y'all need to stop hating on Heroes. I'd be willing to bet most of the haters haven't even seen the fourth season, and are just going with the crowd. Bunch of sheep.

seen it and yes parts of it still suck. Sucks much less now than it did, but it's a shadow of it's former self with its overused Sylar and silly Nylar plot.

But Greg Grunberg is still a cool dude no matter what show he's on. So he wins.

This season was pretty solid. Season 2 was ass and half of season 3 was spent trying to fix it, but season 4 was a return to form.

But Heroes hasn't really been the same for a loooooong time. Most of the good characters have been ruined, with weak Peter, good Sylar and lesbian Claire. It is in SERIOUS need of a reboot.

Call me crazy, but I actually liked season 2.

Season 3 sucked balls, and most of season 4 sucked though they redeemed themselves a bit towards the end with a stretch or 3 or so good episodes to finish it up.

Save the cheerleader, save the world...

I always thought that was the lamest slogan, but I don't know anything about this show so I'm not saying it's lame. Just sayin that the slogan sounds cheesy.

that was the slogan for the first season. that season is actually really good. the first few episodes are a bit mediocre but after that they are amazing. I say check it out and than abandon the show before you get to the second season.

Heroes jumped the shark Season 3, (volumes 3 and 4), the Arthur Petrelli and Danko arcs were both awful. But season 4 was pretty good, IMO. Finally some real character development, not just a random string of high-tension action.
