Valkyria Chronicles is the gift that keeps on giving*. Good thing, because it has a small, but loyal fanbase that's always hungry for more cel-shaded SRPG action.
Next Thursday, the PlayStation Store will update with another pack of Valkyria Chronicles DLC: "Edy's Detachment" will include six missions, each focused on mastering a certain class, including Scout, Shocktrooper, Lancer, Engineer, Sniper, and Tank. It's a small sampling of content (price: TBD) before Valkyria Chronicles 2 hits PSP later this year.
*Additional purchases required.

Its a proven fact that added trophy support can breath life in an older titles...yet it is beyond me why developers would choose to neglect that fact. Heavenly Sword, DMC4, Condemmed 2, FolkLore.. etc, here's looking at you!

Yes... Remind us of how much we've lost because of SEGA's continued stupidity by not releasing VC2 on PS3... Why must they ruin everything that once was so great, from sonic to VC now....

Gotta agree, I would have liked to see the second one on PS3 too. :(
Still getting VC2 for PSP though...

Hmm, I don't why they would do that. Maybe it's the fact that making a PS3 game cost a hell of a lot more money, in which they don't want to spend considering the well-known fact that IT DIDN'T SELL WELL. God your stupid.

Support this guys !
I hope Sega release a new Valkyria game on the PS3 !
And if you dont have payed this game, you should do it ! Its the best jrpg on the ps3! And its fresh, its a good tactical rpg with a new twist that bring action to this type of game!
I hope the team that made this game, work on a sequel to Skies of Arcadia, one of the best rpg of last gen!

Kind of hard to support it when I don't have a PSP. And I suspect that's true for a fairly large amount of PS3 owners, which is what really makes this both a dick move - and a stupid move - on Sega's part. I'll buy any new VC game on PS3 on release day - but I'm not getting a PSP just for it.

There's always space on the hard drive for you, Valkyria Chronicles. :)

I guess this means it's finally time to bust out my Valkyria Chronicles disk again. It has been far too long since I have played that game... What has it been, again...? Oh, that's right. About two weeks.
