Official introduction: Street Fighter's 'new' challengers

Finally, after being announced by the latest issue of Famitsu and then a leaked trailer, Capcom has re-reconfirmed the addition of Street Fighter III: Third Strike's Ibuki, Makoto and Dudley to the roster of Super Street Fighter IV. Along with the announcement, Capcom dropped a few pieces of concept art and screenshots featuring the new brawlers, posted in the gallery below. The developer also released two gameplay clips -- one featuring Dudley, which we've posted above, and one featuring Makoto and Ibuki, which we've posted after the jump.
Feel free to check them out, if you'd like -- however, we all know that these characters' existence is meaningless. We're just going to keep playing Rufus, because he's the best character in any game, ever. Just look at him jump! How does he jump like that?

The Dudley vs Balrog (boxer) matchups will be real interesting. I've seen some pro Rog's out there that are really sharp.

Metsu Shoryuken, which is nearly identical to Shin Shoryuken from Gouken or Shin Shoryuken by Ryu in SF3

Gah! Makoto looks like an angry lesbian butch, what have they done to her? I mean, yes she's a tomboy, but, what's with all that anger and butchiness?
Looking forward to playing Dudley, but his voice is all wrong too, as most have already mentioned.

The names are all swapped in the Japanese verson.
Japanse -> English
M. Bison -> Balrog
Vega -> M. Bison
Balrog -> Vega
The story goes something like this
They changed the boxer's name to avoid any potential legal trouble with Mike Tyson. They gave him Balrog because it seemed to suit him best.
M Bison didn't seem to fit with the guy with the Claw so they swapped again with the Dictator. In the end, they choose names that seemed to be most suited for the appearance of the character.

So... is Makoto hitting Ibuki in the crotch with her super the first time they fight? I would really hate to fight against her with a male character. The hit to the face that sends one flying is ok, but certainly not the nut shot there. That's just mean.

Where the hell is Mayor Haggar? They include Guy and Cody, but not Haggar? I uderstand Guy and Cody were in SF: Alpha, but c'mon.

Exactly, on those times Tyson was at the top of the boxing cult... Vega sounds cool as a boss on Japanese but is a bit of "girly" on English .. Balrog didn't soudn Spaniard enough so they swapped the trio. Same reason same staff of capcom that does things like changing rockman to megaman, blue to protoman,..etc
I think those guys now are retired and those thigns shouldn't happen again, specially with all the info around internet and all the fans keeping track.
