Prison Break trailer reveals innovative 'constant hanging' gameplay
64
We knew a few details about the plot of Deep Silver's video game adaptation of Prison Break, but we weren't aware that the game's protagonist, Company agent Tom Paxton, was actually a chimpanzee in people-clothes. At least, that's what we're assuming from the title's first gameplay trailer, posted above, in which it's revealed Paxton spends a remarkable portion of his day hanging from pipes, ledges and elevator maintenance ladders. Check out the trailer above to see the hanging (and other stuff, we guess) in action.
By the way, if any major television producers happen to be reading this post, a show called Monkey Prison would be the greatest thing ever. Feel free to use that -- just send us an email so we can work out a royalty agreement.

I thought you were going to say it was going to be full of cliff-hangers.
I still think it probably will...

As a fan of the show I firstly don't understand why they would make a game of this. Secondly, why would they think we would enjoy playing as anyone other than Michael Scofield and figuring crap out Batman style. No, no, of course the obvious route to fun is the route less taken with these licensed based games.

not even Natal shower "soap dropping" scenes couldn't save this game for being a flop :(

You: that's not very comfy!
Game: Good. It shouldn't be. It really shouldn't be.

Can you even name some games based off of tv shows? I think you have your answer once you ponder that question for a couple seconds...

Wasn't there a pictionary game too? Which was a tv show that was based on a board game. I'm not sure if the video game was based on the show or on the board game.

If it ends up having interactive shower scenes with Veronica (Robin Tunney's character), I'm all for it.
In all seriousness though, it looks to have the voice actors from the original series, which is already a good sign. I'm intrigued.
